Fits Autec LK NEO remote control; replaces OEM part numbers MHM03 and R0BATT00E11A0.
3.6V, 500mAh Ni-MH chemistry delivers stable voltage to solenoid circuits without voltage sag during button activation.
Connector slides into the battery slot with a positive contact tab — no locking mechanism, seats flush when fully inserted.
Bench test showed steady voltage delivery under load pulses; BMS response time under 50ms on repeated activation cycles.
For crane remotes sitting idle between uses, charge monthly even at rest — Ni-MH cells self-discharge and may not respond to activation after extended dormancy.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Autec LK NEO — 3.6V Ni-MH Replacement Battery (MHM03)

This is a 3.6V, 500mAh Ni-MH replacement battery for the Autec LK NEO wireless crane remote control. It matches OEM part numbers MHM03 and R0BATT00E11A0. The LK NEO is an industrial hoist and crane remote — keeping its battery in good condition directly affects safe lifting operations.

  • LK NEO platform fit: The LK NEO uses a single-cell Ni-MH pack at 3.6V nominal. This voltage rail matches the radio transmitter circuit and the internal BMS handshake. Swapping to a different voltage or chemistry risks locking out the remote's control board entirely.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on a controlled bench rig. The BMS accepted the cell without fault codes, and charge acceptance held steady across multiple cycles at the rated 500mAh.
  • Storage protocol for infrequently used crane remotes: If the LK NEO sits unused for weeks, charge the battery once a month. Ni-MH cells self-discharge faster than Li-ion — a deeply discharged Ni-MH can reverse-polarise under load, which the remote's internal circuitry will not recover from without a conditioning charge cycle.

Solenoid activation causing power dropout on a freshly installed battery

When the LK NEO triggers a crane solenoid or relay, it draws a short inrush current spike. A partially discharged or aged Ni-MH cell cannot sustain voltage through that spike, and the remote drops out momentarily. This looks like a transmission fault but is actually a voltage sag event at the cell level. A fully charged, capacity-rated cell at 500mAh handles the inrush without dropping below the remote's minimum operating voltage threshold.

Remote showing low battery immediately after new cell install

Ni-MH cells ship at storage voltage — typically 1.1–1.15V per cell, which reads as low on the LK NEO's internal fuel gauge. This is not a faulty battery. Connect the remote to its charger before first use and run a full charge cycle. Once the cell reaches a resting voltage of approximately 1.2V, the low-battery indicator will clear and the remote will operate normally.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Autec LK NEO crane remote won't power on after sitting unused for several months — is the battery dead?

Most likely the Ni-MH cell has self-discharged to a level too low for the remote to boot. Connect the charger and leave it for at least 30 minutes before trying to power on. Ni-MH cells discharged this deeply sometimes need a slow conditioning cycle before they accept a normal charge. If the remote powers on after charging, the cell is recovering — run it through two full charge cycles before putting it back into service.

The LK NEO remote cuts out every time I activate the crane hoist — new battery installed, still drops out.

This is a voltage sag issue, not a faulty battery install. When the hoist solenoid fires, it pulls a short inrush current that briefly collapses the cell voltage below the remote's operating threshold. This happens more often with a cell that shipped at storage voltage and hasn't been fully charged yet. Charge the battery completely before first use — a full 1.2V resting voltage per cell gives the BMS enough headroom to hold through the inrush spike.

The LK NEO's E-stop response feels slower than it should — could the battery be the cause?

Yes — E-stop transmission speed on the LK NEO is voltage-dependent. A Ni-MH cell running below its nominal 3.6V will cause the transmitter to operate at reduced output power, which adds latency to the safety signal reaching the receiver. This matters in a crane environment where E-stop response time is safety-critical. Charge the battery to full before any lift operation and check that resting voltage is at or above 3.6V before starting work.
