This is a 3.6V, 700mAh Ni-MH replacement battery for the Bell South GH-9457 cordless handset. It also fits the B655, GH2400, and related GH-series models that share the same OEM pack. Swap it in when the original battery no longer holds a charge between calls.

If the resting voltage of the new pack sits below the base station's acceptance threshold, the charger circuit reads it as a fault and refuses to begin charging. Remove the handset, wait 10 seconds, and reseat it firmly — the base will retry the charge cycle detection.
