Fits BLU BOLD N1 smartphone and replaces OEM battery part number C736048350L.
This 3.8V, 3300mAh lithium-polymer cell delivers the capacity needed to power the processor, display, and cellular radio through a full day of use.
Connector slides into the internal battery slot with a single locking tab at the top; orientation is marked on both the cell and the phone housing.
We bench-tested this pack on a BLU BOLD N1 motherboard and confirmed the fuel gauge IC accepted the new cell BMS handshake without lockout or fault codes.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging and run one complete discharge-charge cycle at standard current so the fuel gauge IC recalibrates against the new cell voltage curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

BLU BOLD N1 — 3.8V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (C736048350L)

This 3.8V, 3300mAh lithium-polymer battery replaces the OEM cell in the BLU BOLD N1 smartphone. It fits the BOLD N1 directly, matching the original connector, cell dimensions (75.04 × 59.20 × 4.50mm), and BMS communication protocol. Capacity is 3300mAh — identical to the factory specification.

  • BOLD N1 platform fit: The BOLD N1 uses a single-cell Li-Polymer pack at 3.8V nominal. The OEM BMS on this platform handshakes with the charge IC over a single-wire thermistor line. This cell carries the matching NTC thermistor, so the charge IC accepts it without throwing a fault.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge, idle, and load draws that mirror screen-on and modem activity. The BMS held the 4.35V charge ceiling correctly and cut off at 3.0V on discharge without dropping to a lockout state.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first cycle: On first use after installation, disable fast charging and run one complete discharge-to-charge cycle at standard current. This lets the fuel gauge IC map its coulomb counter against the new cell's actual discharge curve before fast charging pushes high current into an uncalibrated cell.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the BOLD N1 after a cell swap

The BOLD N1's fuel gauge IC holds a learned discharge curve from the old, degraded cell. When a fresh cell with a steeper, healthier voltage curve goes in, the IC misreads the state of charge. Under modem or display load, the cell voltage dips briefly below the shutdown threshold even though the reported percentage still reads high. One full discharge-to-charge cycle lets the coulomb counter reset against the new curve. After that cycle, shutdowns at 20–30% stop.

USB fast charge not activating on the first cycle after replacement

On the first charge after installation, the charge IC may default to a slow trickle rate rather than engaging fast charge. This happens because the IC treats any new, uncalibrated cell as a potential recovery charge — it holds back current until it confirms the cell voltage is stable above 3.5V. Plug in, leave it alone, and let the first charge complete at whatever rate the IC sets. Fast charge re-engages normally on the second cycle once the IC has confirmed cell health.

Frequently Asked Questions

My BLU BOLD N1 shuts off at around 25% battery — why does this keep happening with the new cell?

The fuel gauge IC on the BOLD N1 is still reading the discharge curve it learned from your old, worn-out cell. When the new cell's voltage dips briefly under screen or modem load, the IC hits its shutdown threshold before the percentage display catches up. Run one full charge cycle — drain to automatic shutdown, charge to 100% without interruption — and the coulomb counter recalibrates to the new cell. Shutdowns at 25–30% stop after that cycle.

The BLU BOLD N1 won't turn on at all after the replacement battery sat in a drawer for a few months — is it dead?

A Li-Polymer cell left uncharged for several months can self-discharge below 2.5V per cell, which triggers BMS lockout to prevent damage. The phone won't power on and may not show a charging indicator when plugged in. Connect the phone to a wall charger — not a PC port — and leave it for 30–45 minutes without pressing anything. If the cell is recoverable, the BMS will release the lockout once it sees the cell voltage climb above 2.9V and the phone will boot.

The BLU BOLD N1 battery percentage jumps around erratically — shows 60%, then drops to 40%, then climbs back up without charging.

Erratic percentage readings after a cell swap mean the fuel gauge IC's internal model no longer matches the new cell's actual charge state — the coulomb counter is estimating, not tracking accurately. This is not a fault with the cell itself. Discharge the phone fully until it shuts itself off, then charge uninterrupted to 100% and leave it on the charger for an additional 15 minutes. That forces the IC to anchor both the empty and full endpoints of the new cell's curve, and the percentage readings stabilise from that point.
