Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Wiko View2 Go / M2354 — 3.85V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (TLP18H06)
This is a 3.85V, 3900mAh Li-Polymer battery for the Wiko View2 Go and M2354 smartphones. It replaces OEM part TLP18H06 and fits the same cell slot and connector as the factory unit. Capacity is rated at 15.02Wh.
- View2 Go and M2354 compatibility: Both models share the same battery bay dimensions, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol — which is why a single TLP18H06 cell covers both. The 82.38 × 63.48 × 4.24mm footprint matches the chassis cavity without modification.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through a full discharge-to-cutoff sequence and verified the BMS triggers correctly at the low-voltage threshold. Charge acceptance was confirmed across standard 5V input without the protection circuit tripping prematurely.
- Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: On first use after installation, disable fast charging and run one complete discharge-charge cycle at standard rate. This lets the phone's fuel gauge IC map its coulomb counter against the new cell's actual discharge curve before fast charge current is applied to an uncalibrated cell.
Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the View2 Go after a cell swap
The Wiko View2 Go's fuel gauge IC stores a charge model calibrated to the original cell. After swapping to a new cell, the stored curve no longer matches the new cell's voltage profile. When the modem fires a high-current burst during a call or data session, the new cell's voltage dips below the threshold the IC expects at that state of charge — and the phone shuts down even though capacity remains. One full discharge-to-shutdown cycle followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100% forces the coulomb counter to rebuild its endpoint references against the replacement cell.
Phone won't power on after sitting in storage with a flat battery
Li-Polymer cells that self-discharge below approximately 2.5V per cell trigger a BMS lockout — the protection circuit opens to prevent damage from deep discharge. The phone shows no response to the charge cable because the BMS will not pass current to the system board until cell voltage recovers to the recovery threshold. Connect the phone to a 5V wall adapter — not a PC USB port — and leave it undisturbed for 15–20 minutes. Once the BMS sees sufficient cell voltage recovery, the charging indicator will appear and normal boot becomes possible.

Frequently Asked Questions
My Wiko View2 Go shows 25% battery and then shuts off without warning — is the new cell faulty?
The cell is likely fine. The fuel gauge IC on the View2 Go is calibrated to the discharge curve of the old cell, so its state-of-charge reading becomes unreliable after a swap. The phone cuts power when the real cell voltage drops below the system threshold under modem load, even though the displayed percentage looks safe. Run one full discharge to automatic shutdown, then charge to 100% without interruption — this resets the coulomb counter endpoints to match the new cell.
Fast charging stopped working after I installed the replacement TLP18H06 — the phone only charges slowly now.
On the first cycle after a cell swap, the charge IC can fall back to standard 5V charging while it negotiates handshake with the new BMS. This is normal behaviour, not a fault. Complete one full charge-discharge cycle at the slow rate, then reconnect your original fast charger. If fast charging still does not engage after that cycle, confirm the cable supports the required current — the View2 Go's fast charge protocol requires a USB cable rated for at least 2A, not a standard data cable.
The battery percentage on my View2 Go jumps around erratically — it dropped from 60% to 11% in minutes.
Erratic percentage jumps are a fuel gauge IC recalibration symptom, not a sign of a defective cell. The IC's internal model still references the degraded capacity curve of the old battery — so its estimates misfire when applied to a new cell with a different impedance profile. Drain the phone fully until it powers off on its own, then charge it in one uninterrupted session to 100% at standard rate. After that single calibration cycle, the percentage readings should stabilise and track normally.
