Fits BLU R2 Plus and R210ww models; replaces OEM part C876444300L.
3.8V, 2800mAh lithium-ion cell delivers the original capacity for normal daily operation.
Connector slides into the factory slot with a single pull-tab locking mechanism intact.
We bench-tested the cell on a BLU R2 Plus motherboard; BMS accepted the new pack on first insertion without fault codes.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle — this lets the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against the new cell discharge curve before high-current charging.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

BLU R2 Plus / R210ww — 3.8V Li-ion Replacement Battery (C876444300L)

This is a 3.8V, 2800mAh Li-ion replacement battery for the BLU R2 Plus and R210ww smartphones. It uses OEM part number C876444300L and slots directly into the original battery bay. Dimensions are 87.00 × 64.00 × 4.40mm — verify these against your existing cell before ordering.

  • R2 Plus and R210ww compatibility: Both models share the same battery footprint, connector pinout, and 3.8V nominal voltage rail. The BMS handshake requirements are identical across the two variants, so one cell covers both.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the R2 Plus platform. The BMS accepted the cell without fault flags, and the charge IC held the expected 4.35V upper cutoff throughout testing.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: On first use after installation, disable fast charging and run one full discharge-charge cycle at standard rate. This gives the fuel gauge IC time to map the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging is applied to an uncalibrated cell.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the replacement cell

This is a voltage-cliff problem, not a capacity problem. Budget smartphone cells often have a steeper discharge curve than what the fuel gauge IC was originally calibrated to. When the modem transmits or the screen peaks in brightness, current draw spikes and cell voltage drops below the BMS cutoff threshold — even though the reported percentage still looks healthy. One full discharge-charge cycle at standard rate lets the coulomb counter re-anchor its zero point to the new cell, and the early shutdowns typically stop after that first calibration pass.

Phone warm near the battery during the first charge after swap

A new cell arrives with higher internal impedance than a broken-in cell. The charge IC pushes current into that higher impedance and the energy dissipated as heat is greater on cycle one. This is normal behaviour and not a sign of a faulty cell. Keep the phone out of a case for the first full charge so heat can dissipate. If warmth persists beyond the second full charge cycle, check that the battery connector is fully seated — a partially connected cell forces the IC to work harder to maintain current flow.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why is my BLU R2 Plus showing the wrong battery percentage after fitting the new cell?

The fuel gauge IC on the R2 Plus is calibrated to the discharge curve of the original cell. When a new cell goes in, the coulomb counter is working from the wrong reference point, so the percentage readout drifts or jumps. Run one complete discharge — down to automatic shutdown — followed by an uninterrupted full charge at standard rate. After that single cycle, the IC re-anchors its calibration to the new cell's actual curve and percentage readings stabilise.

The R2 Plus won't power on at all after the replacement battery sat in storage for a while — what's happening?

Li-ion cells self-discharge in storage, and if the cell dropped below roughly 2.5V, the BMS has gone into lockout mode to prevent damage. The phone will not respond to the power button and may not show a charging indicator at first. Connect to a wall charger — not a PC USB port — and leave it for 20–30 minutes without touching it. Once the cell climbs above the BMS recovery threshold (around 2.9–3.0V), the phone will resume normal boot behaviour.

Fast charging stopped working on the R2 Plus right after I swapped the battery — is the charger the problem?

The charger is unlikely the cause. On the first cycle after a cell swap, the BMS on the new cell may not immediately negotiate the proprietary fast-charge handshake, and the phone defaults to standard 5V charging as a fallback. Complete one full standard-rate charge cycle first. On most R2 Plus units, the fast-charge protocol is accepted by the BMS from the second cycle onward once the cell voltage history is established — verify by checking the charging indicator in the notification bar after the second plug-in.
