Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Asus ROG Phone III — 3.85V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (C11P1903)
This is a 3.85V, 5600mAh Li-Polymer replacement battery for the Asus ROG Phone III (ZS661KS). It fits the ROG Phone 3 line directly and matches the OEM part numbers C11P1903 and 0B200-03720100. Capacity is 21.56Wh — identical to the factory specification.
- ROG Phone III / ZS661KS compatibility: These model variants share the same battery bay dimensions (110.30 × 53.56 × 5.40mm), the same 3.85V nominal voltage rail, and the same BMS connector pinout — so one cell covers the full ROG Phone 3 lineup without modification.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on a ZS661KS unit. The BMS handshake completed without error codes, protection cutoffs triggered correctly at the expected voltage floor, and the fuel gauge IC accepted the cell without throwing calibration faults after a full cycle.
- First-cycle fast charge hold-off: On first use after installation, disable fast charging and run one complete discharge-to-charge cycle at standard current. This lets the fuel gauge IC map the new cell's discharge curve before the ROG Phone's high-current fast charge mode pushes elevated current into an uncalibrated cell.
Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the ROG Phone III after a cell swap
The ROG Phone III runs a Snapdragon 888 paired with a high-refresh AMOLED display — both draw hard current spikes under load. A new cell with an uncalibrated fuel gauge IC can report 25% remaining while the actual cell voltage has already dropped below the BMS cutoff threshold under that load. The phone shuts down not because the battery is empty, but because the voltage sag under peak draw crossed the protection floor before the percentage counter caught up. One full discharge-charge cycle at standard rate recalibrates the coulomb counter against the real cell curve and eliminates the premature cutoff.
USB-PD fast charge not accepted on the first charge after replacement
After installing a new cell, the ROG Phone III's charge IC sometimes falls back to standard 5V charging on the first cycle and refuses to negotiate the fast charge protocol. This happens because the BMS presents slightly different impedance characteristics on a fresh cell, and the charge IC defaults to conservative current until it completes one full handshake cycle. Plug in with the stock charger, let the first charge run to 100% at whatever rate the phone accepts, then unplug and reconnect — fast charge typically re-engages on the second connection once the BMS has completed its initialisation pass.

Frequently Asked Questions
The ROG Phone III shows around 25% battery and just shuts off without warning — is that the new cell or the phone?
That's the fuel gauge IC reading from the old cell's discharge curve after a replacement. The new cell's voltage drops below the BMS protection floor under the screen and processor load before the percentage counter reflects it. Run one full discharge down to automatic shutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100% at standard rate — no fast charge on that first cycle. After that recalibration pass, the coulomb counter tracks the new cell accurately and the premature shutoffs stop.
The battery percentage on my ROG Phone III is jumping around erratically after I replaced the cell — 60% one minute, then 45% the next.
The fuel gauge IC is still calibrated to the degradation curve of the original cell. When the new cell's voltage-to-capacity relationship doesn't match that stored curve, the IC miscalculates state of charge and the percentage swings. One complete discharge-charge cycle at standard current — not fast charge — gives the IC enough data points to remap against the new cell. After that single cycle, the percentage readout stabilises.
My ROG Phone III won't power on at all after the replacement battery sat in a drawer for a few months — the screen stays black even on charge.
A Li-Polymer cell left in storage below roughly 2.5V per cell triggers BMS lockout — the protection circuit disconnects the cell to prevent damage, and the phone sees no voltage at all. Connect the original charger and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing anything; the charge IC on most ZS661KS units will trickle current into a locked-out cell to bring it above the recovery threshold. Once voltage climbs above 3.0V, the BMS re-engages and the phone powers on normally.
