Fits BLU TouchBook G7 and P240u models; replaces OEM part C948730300P.
This 3.7V, 2600mAh lithium-polymer cell delivers the full charge capacity the TouchBook G7 fuel gauge expects on startup.
Connector seats flat into the internal slot with a single locking tab; orientation marked on the cell.
We bench-tested this pack against the TouchBook G7 charge circuit — the BMS accepted negotiation on first insertion and held stable voltage through a full discharge cycle.
After installation, run one complete discharge to automatic shutoff then charge uninterrupted to 100% to recalibrate the fuel gauge IC against the new cell.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

BLU TouchBook G7 — 3.7V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (C948730300P)

This 3.7V, 2600mAh (9.62Wh) Li-Polymer battery replaces OEM part C948730300P in the BLU TouchBook G7. It fits the P240u, TouchBook G7 7.0" 3G, and BT-E003 variants. Swap this in when the original cell no longer holds a charge or the tablet shuts off unexpectedly under load.

  • TouchBook G7 and P240u platform: These models share the same flat Li-Polymer cell format, connector pinout, and charge IC handshake. The C948730300P part number covers all listed variants — no adapter or wiring change needed.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the TouchBook G7 platform. The BMS accepted charge negotiation correctly and hit cutoff at the expected 4.2V upper threshold without tripping protection.
  • Fuel gauge reset after installation: After fitting this battery, run one full discharge to automatic shutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100% without using the tablet. This forces the fuel gauge IC to calibrate against the new cell and corrects the inaccurate percentage readings that appear immediately after a swap.

BLU TouchBook G7 shutting down at 15–25% battery remaining

The TouchBook G7 drives the display backlight and WiFi radio simultaneously during video or browsing sessions. That combined load pulls a current spike the aging fuel gauge IC can't accurately track. The voltage drops faster than the reported percentage suggests, and the BMS trips the cutoff before the display reads zero. After installing the new cell, run one full calibration cycle — discharge to automatic shutoff, then charge to 100% — and the shutdowns at false-high percentages typically stop.

Fast charging not available after battery swap on the TouchBook G7

Some USB charge controllers on BLU tablets require at least one completed charge cycle before they negotiate above standard 5V 500mA input. After installing a new cell, the controller may default to slow charge on the first cycle as a safety measure. Plug into a compatible charger and let the first charge run to 100% uninterrupted. On the second charge, fast charge negotiation typically resumes at the correct voltage and current.

Frequently Asked Questions

My BLU TouchBook G7 shows 80% battery but then jumps to 10% and dies — is the new battery faulty?

It's not a faulty cell. The fuel gauge IC was calibrated to the old, degraded battery and doesn't yet know the new cell's voltage curve. Run one complete discharge to automatic shutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100% without using the tablet. That single cycle resets the calibration and the percentage readings stabilise.

The TouchBook G7 feels warm while charging after the battery swap — is that normal?

Yes. The charge IC runs a conditioning phase on a new Li-Polymer cell during the first few cycles, which generates slightly more heat than usual. Surface warmth during charging is normal and settles after two or three full cycles. If the tablet becomes too hot to hold or shuts off during charging, stop and check that the connector is fully seated and the charge voltage hasn't exceeded 4.2V.

After replacing the battery, my BLU TouchBook G7 percentage drops faster than expected from 100% down to around 60%

This is fuel gauge drift — the IC is still mapping the new cell's discharge curve after a swap. The drop looks steep at first because the gauge is interpolating from old data. Run one full discharge to automatic shutoff followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100%. After that calibration cycle, the percentage should track the actual remaining capacity and the fast early drop disappears.
