Fits BLU Win HD, W510U, Life 8, and L280 — replaces OEM battery C765804220L.
3.8V, 2300mAh lithium-polymer cell restores talk time and app runtime on aging packs.
Connector slides straight onto the motherboard contact strip with no locking tab required.
We bench-tested this cell in a Win HD unit; the fuel gauge IC recalibrated over one full discharge-charge cycle without error codes.
On first use after installation, run one complete discharge-charge cycle without fast charging enabled — this lets the coulomb counter recalibrate against the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

BLU Win HD / W510U Series — 3.8V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (C765804220L)

This 3.8V, 2300mAh Li-Polymer cell replaces the original C765804220L battery in the BLU Win HD, W510U, Life 8, and L280 smartphones. It restores calling, messaging, and app functionality when the original cell has degraded or failed to hold a charge. Capacity figure is 8.74Wh as rated.

  • Win HD / W510U platform fit: These models share the same battery bay dimensions, 3.8V nominal voltage rail, and connector pinout. The BMS handshake on each device accepts this cell's protection circuit without modification or adapter.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on a BLU Win HD unit. The BMS accepted the cell on first insertion, protection thresholds tripped correctly at low voltage, and charge current ramped without fault flags.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: On first use after installation, disable fast charging and run one complete discharge-to-charge cycle. This lets the fuel gauge IC map the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging pushes current into an uncalibrated cell — preventing erratic percentage readings from the start.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the BLU Win HD after a cell swap

A new Li-Polymer cell has a slightly different voltage-versus-capacity curve than the worn cell the fuel gauge IC was calibrated against. When the modem fires during a call or the screen peaks in brightness, load current spikes and the cell voltage briefly dips below the BMS cutoff threshold — even though the gauge still reads 20–30%. The phone shuts down to protect the cell. One full discharge-charge cycle with fast charging off forces the coulomb counter to relearn the new cell's actual voltage floor, and the shutdowns stop.

Phone won't power on after the replacement cell sat in storage

Li-Polymer cells self-discharge in storage, and if the cell voltage drops below roughly 2.5V per cell, the BMS enters lockout mode and blocks all current flow to protect against thermal runaway. Plugging in the charger appears to do nothing — no charging indicator, no boot. Connect the phone to a wall adapter rather than USB-PC, leave it for 15–20 minutes untouched, and the charge IC will trickle enough current through to bring the cell above the BMS re-enable threshold. The phone should then show a charging indicator and boot normally.

Frequently Asked Questions

My BLU Win HD shows 25% battery and then shuts off without warning — is this a faulty cell?

This is a voltage cliff issue, not a defective cell. The fuel gauge IC in the Win HD was calibrated to your old, degraded cell's discharge curve. The new cell hits a steeper voltage drop under modem or screen load at low charge states, triggering the BMS cutoff before the gauge reaches 0%. Run one full discharge-to-charge cycle with fast charging disabled — this forces the coulomb counter to remap against the new cell and the shutdowns clear.

The battery percentage on my Win HD is jumping around erratically after I fitted the replacement — 60% one minute, 45% the next.

That's the fuel gauge IC recalibrating. The coulomb counter stored charge-state data from the old cell and hasn't mapped the new cell's impedance or discharge curve yet. Do not rely on the percentage reading for the first two or three cycles. Let the phone discharge to auto-shutdown once, then charge uninterrupted to 100% — after that the gauge stabilises and percentage jumps stop.

Fast charging stopped working on my BLU Win HD right after I put in the new battery — slow charging only now.

On the first cycle after a cell swap, the charge IC sometimes defaults to standard charge current while it verifies the new BMS. This is normal behaviour. Charge the phone fully once on a standard charger, let it discharge to around 10%, then reconnect using your original fast charge adapter. The charge IC renegotiates current limits with the new cell's BMS on the second cycle, and fast charging resumes at full rate.
