Fits BoostMobile WARP 4G and N9510 models with original 3.8V lithium-ion battery.
Voltage measures 3.8V and capacity rates 2000mAh, matching the phone's original power delivery and charge cycles.
Connector inserts straight into the factory slot with no rotation needed; check the locking tab seats fully before closing the battery door.
We bench tested the cell against a WARP 4G motherboard—BMS accepted the new pack on first insert, voltage rail stable at 4.2V full charge.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle so the fuel gauge IC can recalibrate against the new cell discharge curve before high-current charging loads the recalibration.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

BoostMobile Warp 4G / N9510 — 3.8V Li-ion Replacement Battery

This 3.8V, 2000mAh Li-ion cell replaces the original battery in the BoostMobile Warp 4G (N9510) smartphone. It fits the same battery bay and connects to the same charge IC and fuel gauge circuit as the factory cell. Capacity is 2000mAh (7.6Wh) — matching the original spec.

  • Warp 4G / N9510 fit: Both model references share the same mainboard, battery connector pinout, and BMS handshake. One cell fits both. No adapter or wiring change needed.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through full charge and discharge on the N9510 platform. The BMS accepted charge termination cleanly and the protection circuit tripped correctly at low-voltage cutoff — no false triggers during the modem-active load test.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first cycle: On first use after installation, disable fast charging and run one complete discharge-charge cycle at standard rate. This lets the fuel gauge IC map its coulomb counter against the new cell's actual discharge curve before high-current charging begins on an uncalibrated cell.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the Warp 4G after a cell swap

This is a voltage cliff issue, not a capacity defect. The fuel gauge IC still holds calibration data from the old cell's discharge curve, so its percentage reading diverges from actual cell voltage under load. When the modem or screen pulls current, the new cell's voltage drops below the shutdown threshold before the OS registers a low-battery warning. One full discharge-charge cycle at standard rate resets the coulomb counter against the new cell and the shutdowns stop.

Phone stays on charging screen but percentage never climbs past 1–2%

A replacement cell stored below 2.5V per cell triggers the BMS lockout — the protection circuit blocks charge current to prevent damage to a deeply discharged lithium cell. The phone may show a charging animation but the charge IC cannot push current through the locked BMS. Connect the phone to a wall adapter (not USB from a PC) and leave it undisturbed for 20–30 minutes. The BMS trickle-charge recovery circuit needs a stable 5V source to bring the cell back above 2.9V and release the lockout.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Warp 4G keeps shutting off at around 25% — is that a fault with the replacement cell?

No — this is a fuel gauge mismatch, not a defective cell. The coulomb counter IC on the N9510 mainboard still references the discharge curve of the old, degraded cell. When the new cell's voltage drops under modem or display load, it crosses the hardware shutdown threshold before the OS shows a low-battery warning. Run one full discharge to near-zero and a full charge at standard rate — no fast charging — and the fuel gauge recalibrates to the new cell's actual curve.

The phone won't power on at all after the new battery sat in a drawer for a few weeks — what happened?

The cell discharged below the BMS lockout threshold, typically around 2.5V per cell. At that voltage the protection circuit blocks all charge current as a safety measure, so the phone shows nothing or a static charging screen. Plug into a wall adapter outputting a stable 5V — not a laptop USB port — and leave it connected for at least 20 minutes without pressing any buttons. The BMS trickle-charge recovery path needs uninterrupted voltage to bring the cell above 2.9V before normal charging resumes.

Fast charging worked fine on the old battery but doesn't kick in on the replacement — why?

On the first cycle after a cell swap, the Warp 4G's charge IC defaults to standard charge rate while it verifies BMS handshake and thermal sensor readings from the new cell. This is normal behaviour — it is not a hardware fault. Run one complete standard-rate charge cycle from low to full without interruption. After that cycle the charge IC accepts the new cell's BMS response and fast charging re-enables on subsequent charges.
