Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.
Delivery and Shipping
Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Bosch Constructa Balay Neff 751992 / Move 2in1 — 14.4V Ni-MH Replacement Battery (GPRHC18SV007)
This is a 14.4V 2200mAh Ni-MH replacement battery for Constructa, Balay, and Neff cordless stick and handheld vacuums, including the 751992 and Move 2in1 series. It replaces OEM part numbers GPRHC18SV007 and GP180SCHSV12Y2H. If your vacuum has lost suction power or the battery no longer holds a charge, this cell restores full motor voltage to the unit.
- 751992 / Move 2in1 platform fit: These models share a common 14.4V battery bay, connector housing, and BMS communication protocol across the Constructa, Balay, and Neff variants — the same cell services all of them without modification.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through load discharge on a 14.4V motor draw and confirmed the BMS holds steady voltage through the full discharge curve without early cutoff or thermal shutdown.
- Dock charging behaviour on the Move 2in1: Do not leave the vacuum sitting on the charging dock continuously. The Move 2in1 dock does not drop to a true maintenance charge — prolonged dock time pushes trickle current through Ni-MH cells and accelerates capacity fade. Charge to full, then remove the unit from the dock.
Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low
Ni-MH cells in cordless vacuums lose voltage under motor load faster than the indicator circuit tracks. The LED or bar display reads cell resting voltage, not loaded voltage — so the motor can be starved of its 14.4V rail while the indicator still shows two-thirds charge. A partially blocked filter makes this worse: restricted airflow forces the motor to draw more current, which pulls cell voltage down faster under load. Clean the filter first, then test suction — if it stabilises, the filter was the cause, not the battery.
Motor cuts out mid-clean and then recovers after a few seconds
This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a battery failure. When the suction path is restricted — blocked filter, full dust cup, or a lodged obstruction — the motor draws above its rated current to maintain airflow. The BMS reads that spike and cuts the output circuit to protect the cell. After a few seconds, the BMS resets and power returns. Clear the obstruction or empty the dust cup and the cutout stops. If it persists with a clean filter and empty cup, measure cell voltage under load — it should hold above 12V; anything below that points to a degraded cell.

Frequently Asked Questions
My Move 2in1 sits on the dock all the time — could that have killed the original battery?
Yes, that is the most common cause of early capacity loss on this platform. The Move 2in1 dock does not cut to a true float charge when the battery is full — it continues pushing current through the Ni-MH cells, which degrades them faster than normal cycling. With the replacement cell, charge to full and pull the vacuum off the dock rather than leaving it docked between uses. This alone significantly extends cell life.
The vacuum cuts out after a few seconds of heavy use on thick carpet and then starts again — is the new battery faulty?
This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a faulty cell. Thick carpet increases motor load and current draw; if the filter is even partially restricted, the draw spikes further and the BMS cuts the circuit to protect the cell. Check and clean the filter, then empty the dust cup completely before testing again. If the cutout stops, the filter was the cause — if it continues with everything clear, check that cell voltage under load stays above 12V.
The replacement battery is installed but the vacuum will not charge on the dock — what should I check first?
Some chargers in this series handshake with the battery's BMS before allowing charge current to flow. If the dock shows no charge activity, remove the battery, wait 30 seconds, and reseat it firmly to ensure the connector pins are fully engaged. Then place the unit back on the dock and confirm the charge indicator activates within 60 seconds. If it still does not charge, test the dock with a multimeter at the output pins — it should read between 16V and 18V; a dead dock is more common than a faulty replacement cell in this scenario.
