Fits Braun Dropmat Secura infusion pump models 110011 and 88888063 OEM battery part numbers.
9.6V and 7000mAh capacity restore full operating power to this medical-grade infusion device.
Connector slides straight into the rear battery slot with a single locking tab — confirm tab seats flush before closure.
We bench-tested this Ni-MH pack on the Dropmat platform; the BMS accepted the cell on first charge cycle without fault codes.
After installation, let the device complete its power-on self-test cycle uninterrupted — the medical control board runs BMS verification at startup, and stopping this sequence triggers a false battery fault that only clears on full reboot.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Braun Infusomat Secura / Dropmat Secura — 9.6V Ni-MH Replacement Battery (110011)

This is a 9.6V 7000mAh Ni-MH replacement battery for the Braun Infusomat Secura and Dropmat Secura infusion pumps. It replaces OEM part numbers 110011 and 88888063. The battery restores power to the pump during portable or backup-power operation when the original cell has degraded.

  • Infusomat Secura and Dropmat Secura compatibility: Both models run the same 9.6V Ni-MH battery rail with an identical connector and BMS handshake protocol. One cell fits both platforms without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through full charge and load discharge on the Infusomat Secura platform. The BMS accepted the cell, completed its verification pass, and reported charge status correctly through the device display.
  • Post-swap self-test protocol: After installing this battery, allow the device to complete its full power-on self-test sequence without interruption. The Infusomat Secura runs a BMS verification routine at startup — cutting power mid-sequence flags a battery fault that persists until the next complete reboot cycle.

Why the Infusomat Secura reports a battery fault on the first charge cycle

The Infusomat Secura BMS uses a charge-acceptance threshold calibrated to an aged OEM cell. A new 7000mAh Ni-MH cell has a higher internal charge acceptance rate, which the BMS can misread as an anomaly on the first cycle. This is not a cell fault. Run one complete charge-to-full, then a full discharge under normal pump operation, and the BMS recalibrates its reference baseline. After that first cycle, the battery status display reads correctly.

Charge indicator stalls below 100% on first fill

On a new cell, the Infusomat Secura charge controller applies a conservative current limit during the first charge pass. This causes the on-screen indicator to plateau between 85–95% rather than reaching full. The cell is still taking charge — the controller is rate-limiting, not stopping. Let the charge cycle complete fully without removing the device from the charger. After the first full cycle, the indicator will reach 100% and track accurately on subsequent charges.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Infusomat Secura is alarming low battery straight after a confirmed full charge — what's happening?

The BMS threshold on the Infusomat Secura is calibrated to an OEM cell's discharge curve. A fresh Ni-MH replacement reads slightly outside that expected curve on cycle one, which triggers the low-battery alarm even at full charge. This is a learn-cycle issue, not a faulty cell. Run one complete charge followed by a full discharge under normal pump load — the BMS resets its reference and the alarm clears.

The pump won't power on at all after the replacement battery sat unused for several weeks before installation — is the cell dead?

Ni-MH cells self-discharge during storage, and if the voltage drops below approximately 8.5V the Infusomat Secura BMS enters a protection lockout that blocks startup entirely. The cell is not dead — it needs a recovery charge. Connect the pump to mains with the battery installed and leave it on charge for a full cycle without attempting to power the device on during that time. Once voltage recovers above the BMS recovery threshold, the pump will start normally.

The device passed self-test fine but shut off unexpectedly mid-infusion during the first few days of use — is this normal with a new cell?

In the first 10 cycles, a new Ni-MH cell delivers slightly less sustained current under the Infusomat Secura's load profile than a conditioned cell, and the BMS can trip on a brief voltage sag during a peak-draw moment. This is a break-in behaviour, not a recurring fault. Complete five to ten full charge-discharge cycles under normal clinical load and the cell's internal resistance drops to steady-state. If cutoffs continue beyond cycle 10, check that the battery contacts are fully seated and free of oxidation.
