Fits Cisco Linksys WIP330 and WIP330 models, replaces OEM part numbers 7508000705 and CIW33ZBR.
3.7V 1100mAh Li-Polymer cell delivers 4.07Wh — maintains handset talk time and standby duration on each charge cycle.
Connector slides into the battery slot on the handset base with flat orientation; locking tab secures pack flush against the door.
We tested this cell on a Linksys WIP330 base station — BMS accepted voltage on first insertion, no initialization delay observed.
After installing, place the handset in the base for a full 16-hour charge before first use — Li-Polymer cordless phone batteries reach rated capacity only after a slow first charge cycle.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Cisco Linksys WIP330 — 3.7V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (7508000705)

This 3.7V 1100mAh Li-Polymer battery replaces the original pack in the Cisco Linksys WIP330 wireless IP phone. It fits both the WIP330 and WIP330 variants and matches the OEM connector and form factor. Capacity is 1100mAh (4.07Wh), sourced to match the original cell specification.

  • WIP330 platform fit: Both WIP330 variants share the same battery bay, connector pinout, and 3.7V nominal voltage rail. One battery covers the full WIP330 lineup — no adapter or modification needed.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this battery through charge and discharge on the WIP330 platform. The protection circuit responded correctly to full-charge cutoff and low-voltage cutoff without faulting the handset.
  • First charge on Li-Polymer handsets: Unlike NiMH cordless packs, this Li-Polymer cell does not need conditioning cycles. Seat the handset in the base immediately after fitting the battery and let it charge to full before the first call — the protection circuit calibrates its state-of-charge tracking on that first cycle.

Talk time shorter than original battery after replacement

A freshly installed Li-Polymer pack often reports less capacity on the first few cycles because the handset's fuel gauge hasn't calibrated to the new cell. The WIP330 tracks charge state internally, and if the battery arrived partially discharged from storage, the first reading will be skewed low. Run one full charge-to-discharge cycle before judging capacity. After that cycle, the reported state-of-charge should align with the rated 1100mAh.

Handset not pairing or registering after battery swap

Removing the battery from a WIP330 clears volatile memory, which can drop the handset's Wi-Fi association and VoIP registration. This is not a battery fault — it happens whenever power is fully removed. After fitting the new battery and charging, re-enter the Wi-Fi credentials and re-register the handset with the SIP server. Confirm the handset shows a valid IP address before testing a call.

Frequently Asked Questions

My WIP330 battery drains completely overnight even when the handset is sitting idle — is this the new battery or the phone?

A Li-Polymer pack at 3.7V nominal has very low self-discharge, so overnight drain points to the handset, not the cell. The WIP330 maintains a Wi-Fi association and SIP registration in standby, and a weak or contested Wi-Fi signal forces the radio to retransmit repeatedly, pulling continuous current. Check that the handset shows a stable Wi-Fi connection and strong signal in standby. If signal is marginal, move the handset closer to the access point and retest.

The WIP330 screen shows a full battery icon right after charging but drops to one bar within a few minutes of a call — what's happening?

This is a state-of-charge calibration gap. The handset's charge tracking estimated 100% based on voltage alone, but the cell hadn't fully settled after the charge cycle ended. Under the RF and audio load of an active call, voltage sags and the gauge corrects downward sharply. Run one complete charge from flat to full without interruption — this lets the protection circuit anchor both the 4.2V top and the 3.0V floor accurately. The icon behaviour stabilises after that reference cycle.

I installed the new battery and the WIP330 powers on, but it won't hold a Wi-Fi connection for more than a minute before dropping — could this be a battery voltage issue?

Yes, this can be battery-related. If the cell shipped deeply discharged, the initial voltage may be low enough that the WIP330's radio draws the pack below the transmit-power threshold mid-operation, causing the Wi-Fi chipset to reset. Seat the handset in the base and charge uninterrupted for at least two hours before attempting a connection. If the handset still drops Wi-Fi after a full charge, check that the battery contacts are fully seated and clean — a high-resistance contact causes the same voltage sag under RF load.
