Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.
Delivery and Shipping
Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Cjscope QX-350 RX — 10.8V Li-ion Replacement Battery
This 10.8V, 4200mAh (45.36Wh) Li-ion battery replaces the original cell in the Cjscope QX-350 RX laptop. It restores untethered operation when the factory battery no longer holds a charge. Voltage and connector match the QX-350 RX battery bay exactly.
- QX-350 RX platform fit: The QX-350 RX uses a 10.8V three-cell Li-ion pack. Any replacement must match that voltage rail and the BMS communication protocol the system board expects — a mismatch trips a charge block at the firmware level before the first cycle completes.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge, full-load discharge, and BMS handshake verification. The protection circuit responded correctly to over-current and cell-level voltage drop — no false cutoffs under sustained CPU and display load.
- First-cycle calibration after install: After fitting, run the laptop on battery until it hibernates from low charge, then charge uninterrupted to 100% without interruption. This forces the fuel gauge IC to re-learn the new cell's actual capacity and clears the inaccurate health warning the BIOS displays after every cell swap.
Why the QX-350 RX BIOS flags a new battery as poor health
The QX-350 RX stores battery health data in EEPROM on the system board — not on the battery itself. When a new cell goes in, that stored data still reflects the worn-out original. The BIOS reads the old EEPROM values and reports poor health even though the cell is fresh. Running a full discharge-to-hibernate then a complete uninterrupted charge forces a battery learn cycle, overwrites the stale EEPROM data, and brings the health indicator back to normal.
Laptop shuts down with 20–30% charge still showing on screen
This happens when the fuel gauge IC hasn't yet calibrated against the new cell's actual voltage curve. The gauge is reading a percentage mapped to the old battery — when the new cell hits its real voltage floor under load, the system cuts power before the displayed number reaches zero. The fix is two to three full calibration cycles: discharge to hibernate cutoff each time, then charge fully to 100%. After those cycles, the displayed percentage and actual remaining capacity will track each other accurately down to the correct shutdown voltage of around 9.0V.

Frequently Asked Questions
My QX-350 RX is showing the battery as "unknown" or 0% right after I put in the new cell — is it dead?
It isn't dead. The BIOS is still reading EEPROM data written by the old battery, so it has no valid state-of-charge reference for the new cell. Plug in the AC adapter and let it charge uninterrupted to 100%, then run it down to hibernate on battery power alone. That single full cycle gives the fuel gauge IC enough data to register the new cell correctly and clears the unknown status.
The Wh rating shown in Windows battery report doesn't match the 45.36Wh on the product listing — why?
Windows reads the Wh figure from the battery's EEPROM, which stores the original factory-rated value written at manufacture. The actual measured capacity after calibration cycles may differ slightly from that stored figure because EEPROM data reflects rated chemistry specs, not live cell output. This is a reporting difference, not a fault. Run two full discharge-to-100% charge cycles and the reported design capacity will stabilise against the cell's real output.
My QX-350 RX stops charging at around 80% and won't go higher — is the replacement battery faulty?
Almost certainly not the battery. The QX-350 RX BIOS includes a firmware-controlled charge limit that caps charging at 80% when battery care or conservation mode is enabled in the system settings. Check the power management or battery settings in the BIOS setup menu and in any Cjscope utility software installed on the laptop. Disable the charge limit, then reconnect the charger — the cell should charge to 100%.
