Fits COBBO PRO 27 and PRO 27+ cordless vacuums; replaces OEM battery CS-PCM710VX.
14.4V and 5200mAh capacity deliver sustained motor voltage under carpet load and brush blockage.
Connector slides straight into the battery slot with a locking tab; orientation is keyed.
We bench-tested this cell on a PRO 27 under sustained suction — BMS held stable with no early cutoff during filter restriction cycles.
Do not leave the vacuum on the charging dock continuously; trickle charging degrades capacity faster than removing the battery when full.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

COBBO PRO 27 / PRO 27+ — 14.4V Li-ion 5200mAh Replacement Battery

This is a 14.4V Li-ion battery rated at 5200mAh (74.88Wh) for the COBBO PRO 27 and PRO 27+ cordless stick vacuums. It replaces the original pack when capacity has faded and the vacuum no longer holds a useful charge. The cell dimensions are 136.60 × 37.60 × 37.30mm — verify these against your existing pack before ordering.

  • PRO 27 and PRO 27+ compatibility: Both models run the same 14.4V battery rail with the same connector and BMS handshake. One pack covers both variants without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this pack through charge and discharge on the PRO 27 platform. The BMS held communication with the charger correctly and did not trigger a fault cutoff under normal load draw from the motor.
  • Dock charging behaviour on the PRO 27: Do not leave the vacuum sitting on the charging dock continuously. The PRO 27 dock does not cut power once the pack is full. Trickle current over days accelerates capacity fade. Charge to full, then remove the vacuum from the dock.

Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low

This happens when the motor is working harder than rated — usually because of a partially blocked filter or debris path. Higher motor draw pulls the cell voltage down faster than the indicator circuit expects, so the vacuum loses suction while the LED still shows a healthy charge level. The BMS reads actual terminal voltage, not state-of-charge percentage, and it will cut output current before the indicator LED trips. Clean the filter and check the nozzle path before assuming the battery is faulty.

Motor cuts out mid-clean then recovers after a short pause

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. When sustained suction restriction forces the motor to draw above the BMS current threshold, the pack shuts off to protect the cells. After a brief rest the BMS resets and the vacuum powers back on. If this keeps happening on a new pack, the fault is mechanical — clear the filter, check the brush roll for hair wrap, and ensure the dust bin is not overfull. A clear airpath brings motor draw back within the BMS limit.

Frequently Asked Questions

The COBBO PRO 27 has noticeably less suction but the battery indicator still shows two or three bars — what's happening?

This is motor voltage sag, not a dead cell. A restricted filter forces the motor to draw more current, which pulls terminal voltage down and reduces motor speed before the indicator registers low battery. Check and clean the filter first — if suction returns to normal, the battery is fine. If suction stays weak after clearing the filter and bin, the pack itself may have developed capacity fade and needs replacing.

My PRO 27 cuts out after a few minutes of use, then starts again if I wait — is this a faulty replacement battery?

Most likely this is a BMS overcurrent trip on the new pack, not a defect. The BMS cuts output when sustained motor draw exceeds its current limit, which usually means restricted airflow rather than a bad cell. Remove and clean the filter, clear the brush roll of any hair or debris, and empty the bin fully. If the cutouts stop after clearing the airpath, the pack is working correctly — the BMS was protecting it from an overloaded motor.

The original COBBO PRO 27 battery got worse after being left on the dock for weeks — will this replacement degrade the same way?

Yes, if you leave it docked continuously. The PRO 27 charging dock does not stop delivering current once the pack is full, so the cells sit under trickle charge indefinitely, which accelerates capacity fade. Charge the new pack to full, then remove the vacuum from the dock and store it off charge. Reconnect to the dock only when the pack needs a top-up.
