Fits Coolpad Snap 3312A; replaces OEM part CPLD-194 lithium-ion cell.
3.7V, 1300mAh capacity restores full charge hold and normal runtime on this compact phone.
Connector slides straight into original battery slot; locking tab engages at both sides.
We bench-tested the new BMS against a Snap charger circuit — fuel gauge IC accepted the cell on first power-up without voltage lag or early cutoff signals.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle so the fuel gauge IC recalibrates against this cell's discharge curve before high-current charging.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Coolpad Snap 3312A — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (CPLD-194)

This is a 3.7V, 1300mAh (4.81Wh) Li-ion battery for the Coolpad Snap and 3312A smartphones. It replaces OEM part CPLD-194 and fits the phone's compact battery bay with the original connector and contact layout. Swap this in when the original cell no longer holds a usable charge.

  • Snap and 3312A compatibility: Both models run the same 3.7V single-cell platform with an identical physical footprint and contact pinout — one battery covers both variants without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled the cell through charge and discharge on the Snap platform and confirmed the BMS handshake completes correctly, with the charge IC accepting the cell and entering CC/CV charge as expected.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration after swap: On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one full discharge-charge cycle. This lets the fuel gauge IC map its coulomb counter against the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging is applied to an uncalibrated cell.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the Coolpad Snap after a cell replacement

The Snap's fuel gauge IC stores a discharge model calibrated to the original cell. A new cell has a different internal resistance and voltage-discharge curve, so the IC misreads state of charge. When the modem transmits or the screen brightness spikes, current draw pulls cell voltage below the BMS cutoff threshold — even though the displayed percentage still reads high. The fix is one full uninterrupted discharge to auto-off, then a full charge to 100% without interruption. After that cycle, the coulomb counter resets its zero-point against the actual cell curve and shutdowns stop.

Phone feels warm near the battery during the first few charges

A new Li-ion cell starts with slightly higher internal impedance than a broken-in cell. The charge IC drives the same constant-current rate regardless, so more energy is lost as heat across that impedance in early cycles. This is not a fault — it normalises after three to five full cycles as the cell's internal resistance drops. If warmth persists past the fifth cycle or the phone becomes hot to the touch, measure the charge voltage at the USB port and confirm it does not exceed 5.2V.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Coolpad Snap shuts off at around 25% battery after I put in the new CPLD-194 — is the replacement cell faulty?

The cell is most likely fine. The fuel gauge IC on the Snap is still running a discharge model calibrated to the old cell, so it misreads how much charge remains. Under modem or screen load, voltage drops faster than the IC expects and the BMS cuts power to protect the cell. Run one full discharge to auto-off followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100% — that resets the coulomb counter to the new cell's actual curve and the early shutdowns stop.

The Coolpad Snap is showing erratic battery percentages — jumping from 40% down to 15% in minutes — after I swapped the battery.

This is the fuel gauge IC recalibrating. The coulomb counter lost its reference point when the old cell was removed and is now interpolating state of charge against a curve that does not match the new cell. It stabilises after one or two complete discharge-charge cycles. Do not interrupt those cycles — a partial charge resets the counter's endpoint and extends the recalibration period.

Fast charging stopped working on my Coolpad Snap after fitting the replacement battery — it only trickle charges now.

On the first cycle with a new cell, the charge IC on the Snap may default to a low-current trickle mode until it confirms the cell voltage is within the expected window. If the replacement cell arrived partially discharged from storage, the IC treats it as a potentially damaged cell and limits current as a safety measure. Plug in and leave the phone untouched for 20–30 minutes — once the cell voltage climbs above 3.0V, the IC should step up to full CC-phase charging. If it does not, check that the USB cable and adapter deliver a stable 5V output.
