Fits Oppo Reno4 SE, Reno5, and Reno5k using BLP811 OEM part number.
7.74V and 1700mAh capacity restores full charge cycles on this smartphone's internal slot.
Connector uses a standard two-pin flat-blade terminal; orientation is marked on the cell housing.
We bench-tested this cell in a Reno4 SE and observed clean BMS handshake on first insertion with no voltage sag during boot.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle — this lets the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against the new cell discharge curve before high-current charging.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Oppo Reno4 SE / Reno5 / Reno5k — 7.74V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (BLP811)

This is a 7.74V, 1700mAh Li-Polymer replacement battery for the Oppo Reno4 SE, Reno5, and Reno5k smartphones. It uses OEM part number BLP811 and fits the internal battery bay directly. Total energy is 13.16Wh.

  • Reno4 SE, Reno5, and Reno5k compatibility: All three models share the BLP811 cell format, the same connector pinout, and a compatible BMS handshake with the charge IC on the motherboard. Swapping between these variants does not require firmware changes.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the Reno5 platform. The BMS accepted charge handshake without fault codes, and the fuel gauge IC tracked state-of-charge through two full cycles before stabilising.
  • First-cycle fast charge protocol: On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle. This lets the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against the new cell's discharge curve before high-current fast charging pushes current into an uncalibrated cell.

Why the Reno4 SE reports wrong battery percentage after a cell swap

The fuel gauge IC on these Oppo devices stores a learned discharge curve from the original cell. When a new cell goes in, that stored curve no longer matches the actual chemistry. The IC keeps reporting percentage against the old data until it recalibrates. Run one full discharge down to automatic shutdown, then charge uninterrupted to 100% — the coulomb counter resets against the new cell after that cycle.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the BLP811 replacement cell

This happens when the cell voltage drops sharply under load — screen brightness, modem activity, or GPS all pull current spikes that a partially calibrated cell cannot sustain. The BMS cuts power at roughly 3.2V per cell to protect the chemistry, even though the OS still shows charge remaining. It is not a defective battery — it is the fuel gauge IC reading a stale state-of-charge estimate. One full discharge-charge cycle re-anchors the percentage to the actual voltage curve, and the shutdowns stop.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Oppo Reno5 powered off at 25% and now won't turn back on — is the battery dead?

It is not dead. The BMS locked out after the cell voltage dropped below roughly 3.2V during that final load spike. Plug into a wall charger — not a PC port — and leave it for 20 minutes before attempting to power on. If the screen shows a charging indicator at any point, the BMS has recovered and the cell is accepting current normally.

Oppo fast charging stopped working after I fitted the BLP811 — the phone just trickle charges now.

The proprietary VOOC charge protocol requires a handshake between the charge IC and the battery BMS. On the first cycle after a cell swap, some units fall back to standard 5V/1A charging until the BMS completes one full cycle. Discharge the phone to automatic shutdown, charge it uninterrupted to 100% on the original Oppo adapter, and fast charging resumes on the next session.

The battery percentage jumps — say from 60% down to 41% in two minutes with light use. What causes that?

The coulomb counter is recalibrating against the new cell's discharge curve and has not yet built an accurate state-of-charge map. This is normal for the first two cycles on a replacement Li-Polymer cell. The jumps narrow after each complete discharge-charge cycle. Run two full cycles — charge to 100%, use to automatic shutdown, repeat — and the percentage will track smoothly.
