Fits Corsair RGP0106 Sabre Wireless Gaming Mouse, replaces OEM part AHB682730.
Voltage 3.7V, capacity 500mAh — this single-cell Li-Po pack powers the Sabre's wireless receiver and RF polling without lag.
Connector is a two-pin JST-style plug; polarity marked on the plastic housing, seats flush into the battery compartment slot.
We bench-tested the cell on a Sabre receiver board — BMS accepted the charge handshake at 4.2V peak, no fault flags on first boot.
On first swap, if the mouse loses pairing, hold the receiver's pairing button for three seconds while the Sabre powers on to re-establish the RF link.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Corsair Sabre Wireless Gaming Mouse — 3.7V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (AHB682730)

This is a 3.7V, 500mAh Li-Polymer battery that fits the Corsair RGP0106 and Sabre Wireless Gaming Mouse. It replaces OEM part AHB682730 when the original cell has degraded or failed. Dimensions are 33.60 × 25.40 × 6.20mm — measure your existing cell before ordering to confirm fit.

  • Sabre Wireless compatibility: The Sabre Wireless platform uses a single Li-Polymer cell at 3.7V nominal. The BMS in this mouse monitors cell voltage directly — swapping in a mismatched capacity or chemistry triggers low-battery shutdown faster than expected, so match the OEM spec exactly.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on the Sabre Wireless platform. The BMS accepted the cell without error, held full charge at 4.2V, and cut off cleanly at the low-voltage threshold without false triggers.
  • Post-swap power-on check: After seating the new battery, hold the mouse power button for three seconds rather than a quick press. The Sabre Wireless firmware requires a sustained power-on signal after full power loss — a short press registers nothing and the mouse appears dead.

Keyboard pairing lost after battery swap on Corsair wireless peripherals

Corsair wireless keyboards paired via Slipstream or Bluetooth lose their pairing state when the battery drops to zero and the BMS disconnects the cell entirely. This is not a fault with the new battery — it is a firmware behaviour triggered by full power loss. After fitting the replacement, hold the pairing button on the underside of the keyboard until the LED flashes rapidly, then re-pair through the USB receiver or your OS Bluetooth menu. The reconnection completes within 30 seconds under normal conditions.

Mouse pointer stuttering or lagging before the low-battery indicator appears

The Sabre Wireless reduces its Bluetooth or Slipstream polling rate automatically when cell voltage drops below approximately 3.5V — this happens before the on-screen battery warning triggers. The result is visible pointer lag or jitter that looks like a tracking fault but is actually a power-saving response. Charging the mouse or fitting a fresh cell resolves it immediately. If stuttering returns within a short charge cycle, the cell has lost capacity and needs replacement.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Corsair Sabre Wireless mouse won't reconnect after I put in the new battery — the USB receiver shows nothing

The Slipstream receiver loses its paired state when the mouse goes through a full power cycle from a dead battery. Unplug the USB receiver, wait 10 seconds, plug it back in, then hold the Connect button on the underside of the mouse for five seconds. The LED will flash to confirm pairing mode — the receiver picks it up within 30 seconds.

The new battery charged to full but the Sabre Wireless is already showing low battery after a short session — what's wrong?

RGB lighting and the 2000Hz polling rate on the Sabre Wireless draw significantly more current than the rated capacity is tested against under standard lab conditions. Running full RGB at max brightness alongside high-frequency polling drains a 500mAh cell faster than the battery indicator expects. Lower the RGB brightness one step in iCUE and set polling to 1000Hz — this reduces draw without affecting tracking performance and extends time between charges noticeably.

The mouse turns on but the pointer skips and freezes even with a fully charged replacement battery — is this a receiver issue?

Pointer skipping on a fully charged cell usually points to USB interference, not the battery. The Slipstream receiver is sensitive to USB 3.0 crosstalk — move it to a USB 2.0 port or use the extension cable to place the receiver within 30cm of the mouse. If skipping stops, the original port was causing signal noise. If it continues, reseat the battery connector and confirm the cell voltage reads 4.2V with a multimeter before ruling out a seating fault.
