After five full charge and discharge cycles, cell internal resistance drops and the BMS handles those spikes without tripping.

Li-ion cells self-discharge slowly in storage. After several months in a cold garage, the pack voltage can drop below the charger's acceptance threshold — typically around 2.5V per cell — and the charger refuses to begin a charge cycle, showing a fault or red light. Place the battery in a warmer environment (above 15°C) for two to three hours, then retry the charger. If the charger still rejects it, the cells may have dropped below 2.0V per cell, which is the recovery floor for this chemistry.
