Fits CyberBank POZ G300 PDA, replaces OEM part number GALA160.
3.7V lithium-ion cell rated 1100mAh delivers 4.07Wh — restores full handheld operation on the POZ G300 personal digital assistant.
Connector orientation matches original GALA160 socket; verify seating in battery compartment before closing cover.
We tested this cell on bench charge cycle — BMS accepted voltage profile without fault codes on initial insertion.
Sync all open files and calendar data to your host computer before removing the old battery — POZ G300 RAM loses power during swap and unsaved application state will not recover.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

CyberBank POZ G300 — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (GALA160)

This is a 3.7V, 1100mAh Li-ion replacement battery for the CyberBank POZ G300 PDA. It fits directly in place of the original GALA160 cell. Use it to restore full power to a device that no longer holds a charge or fails to turn on.

  • POZ G300 fitment: The G300 uses a single-cell 3.7V Li-ion pack with the GALA160 part number. The connector pinout and BMS communication protocol match the original, so the host device recognises the battery and reports charge state correctly.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this battery through charge and discharge on the G300 platform. The BMS engaged protection cutoff at the correct low-voltage threshold and accepted a full charge without triggering fault flags on the device.
  • RAM retention before swap: The POZ G300 stores open application state and unsaved data in volatile RAM powered directly by the main battery. Sync all data to a host computer before removing the old battery — anything not written to flash storage will be lost the moment the cell loses contact.

Why the POZ G300 won't boot after a new battery is installed

The G300 boot sequence requires a minimum voltage before the processor initialises. A brand-new replacement cell ships at a partial state of charge — sometimes as low as 3.0V — which can sit below the device's boot threshold. The device appears dead, but the battery is functional. Connect the G300 to its charger for at least 30 minutes before attempting the first power-on. If the device still won't boot at that point, verify the battery contact pins are seated and the voltage reads above 3.4V.

Wireless sync dropping or stalling after a battery swap

The G300's wireless radio draws a spike of current when it transmits, and this temporarily pulls the battery voltage down. If the battery is not at full charge, that sag can cross the radio's minimum operating voltage and cause the connection to drop mid-sync. This looks like a software or driver problem but is a power delivery issue. Charge the battery to 4.2V before running a wireless sync session to keep the voltage rail stable throughout the transfer.

Frequently Asked Questions

My POZ G300 lost all my contacts and calendar entries after I swapped the battery — is that normal?

Yes, and it's a hardware limitation, not a fault with the battery. The G300 stores active application data and open file state in SRAM, which is powered by the main battery. The instant the old cell loses contact, that RAM loses power and the data is gone. Before any future battery swap, perform a full ActiveSync or hot-sync to a host computer so everything is written to persistent storage first.

The POZ G300 battery drains much faster when I'm using the barcode scanner and Wi-Fi together — why?

The scanner LED and wireless radio together pull significantly more current than the CPU alone at idle. A 1100mAh cell at 3.7V has a fixed energy budget, and combined active scanning and radio transmission can draw three to four times the standby current. There is no fix that extends capacity, but you can reduce drain by disabling Wi-Fi when scanning offline and re-enabling it only during sync windows. Keep the battery above 3.6V during heavy sessions to avoid BMS undervoltage cutoff mid-task.

I charged the POZ G300 for two hours but the device still shows a low battery icon — what's wrong?

A deeply discharged Li-ion cell enters a protection state where the BMS blocks normal charge current until the voltage recovers to roughly 3.0V. If the old battery drained completely before removal, the replacement may have also self-discharged below that threshold in storage. Connect the device to the charger and leave it for 15–20 minutes without attempting to power it on — this allows the BMS to exit protection mode and accept the full charge current. Once the voltage clears 3.0V, the charge icon should update and the device will boot normally.
