Fits Daitem SC200AU and SC201AX controllers; replaces OEM part numbers 908-21X and BAT90821.
3.7V, 700mAh lithium-ion cell restores full wireless control range and backup power to your alarm remote module.
Cylindrical cell slides into the battery compartment with flat-top positive terminal; polarity marked on the housing.
We bench-tested the 908-21X replacement on a live SC200AU unit; BMS accepted the cell and delivered stable voltage output under control signal load.
Wait 24–48 hours after installation before running a zone diagnostic test — the panel's backup circuit needs time to fully charge before reporting accurate battery status.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Daitem SC200AU / SC201AX Controllers — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (908-21X)

This 3.7V, 700mAh Li-ion cell replaces the internal battery in Daitem wireless alarm controllers and sender modules. It fits the SC200AU, SC201AX, Sender GSM G470-30, DP8000, and more than 17 additional Daitem units. Use the OEM part numbers 908-21X or BAT90821 to confirm fitment before ordering.

  • SC200AU / SC201AX platform fit: These controllers share the same 3.7V single-cell architecture, connector footprint, and BMS handshake protocol. One cell covers the full controller range without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through a full charge cycle and monitored BMS communication with the host unit. The cell accepted charge without fault flags and reported state-of-charge correctly to the panel within the expected window.
  • Post-swap float charge requirement: Do not trigger a zone test immediately after fitting this cell. Allow 24–48 hours on float charge before running any diagnostic. A cell installed below float voltage will cause the panel to report a low battery fault even though the hardware is functioning correctly.

Alarm panel showing low battery hours after installing the new cell

A freshly installed Li-ion cell often sits below the panel's accepted float threshold — typically around 3.9–4.0V — when it arrives from storage. The Daitem BMS reads state-of-charge continuously and will flag a low battery condition until the cell reaches full float. This is not a faulty cell. Leave the panel powered for 24–48 hours and the fault will clear once the cell charges past 4.1V.

Panel loses saved programming during a mains power outage after battery replacement

If the replacement cell has not completed its initial charge cycle, it may not hold enough capacity to sustain panel memory through a mains dropout. The SC200AU draws a small but continuous standby current, and an undercharged cell can drop below the cutoff threshold quickly under that load. This wipes volatile memory before the mains returns. Allow a full 48-hour conditioning period on mains power after fitting the new cell before testing backup behaviour.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Daitem SC200AU still shows a low battery warning the day after I put in the new cell — did I get a dud?

Almost certainly not. Li-ion cells ship in partial charge state, often below the 3.9V threshold the Daitem BMS requires before it clears a low battery flag. The panel needs 24–48 hours on mains power to bring the new cell up to full float. Check again after 48 hours — if the fault persists beyond that point, confirm the cell voltage at the contacts reads at least 4.1V.

The siren didn't fire during my test alarm after swapping the backup battery in the Daitem controller — what's wrong?

The Daitem panel imposes a charge stabilisation delay on a freshly fitted cell before enabling siren output. This delay is typically 30–60 seconds from the moment the cell is seated and the panel is powered. If the test was run within that window, the siren circuit was intentionally suppressed. Wait at least two minutes after powering the panel, then re-run the test.

My Daitem panel is showing a tamper fault after I replaced the battery — I didn't touch the sensors.

A tamper fault triggered immediately after a battery swap almost always means the controller housing or lid is not fully closed. The Daitem SC200AU has a tamper contact on the cover that breaks the circuit the moment the casing is ajar by even a millimetre. Open the unit, check that the battery is seated flat and not lifting the cover, then press the lid firmly closed until it clicks. The tamper fault should clear within seconds.
