Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.
Delivery and Shipping
Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Datalogic CVR2 / Memor Series — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (64ACC1368)
This 3.7V, 1000mAh Li-ion battery replaces part numbers 64ACC1368, 94ACC1367, and 94ACC1368 in the Datalogic CVR2, DL-Memor, and Memor handheld barcode scanners. These scanners are common in retail, warehouse, and logistics pick-and-pack operations where daily battery cycling is heavy. Dimensions are 64.70 × 37.00 × 7.40mm — a direct match to the original cell footprint.
- CVR2, DL-Memor, and Memor compatibility: All three models share the same battery bay geometry, contact arrangement, and BMS communication protocol. One cell fits all three without modification.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this pack through charge and discharge cycles on the CVR2 platform. The BMS handshake completed cleanly, cell voltage held steady through repeated scan-trigger inrush events, and charging communication with the cradle registered correctly.
- First-shift preparation for pick-and-pack use: After installing a fresh pack, place the scanner in its cradle and run a full charge cycle before using it on the floor. Scan-trigger inrush current is highest when the cell is near minimum charge, and starting below threshold can cause the BMS to trip on the first active shift.
Cradle charging error on a new pack
When a new battery shows a charging fault on the cradle, the most common cause is contact resistance at the battery terminals — not a faulty cell or dock. Oils, dust, and residue from handling transfer onto the gold contacts during installation. Wipe the battery contact strip with a dry, lint-free cloth, reseat the scanner firmly in the cradle, and confirm the charge indicator activates. If the error clears, the pack was fine; the contacts just needed cleaning before the dock could read pack voltage.
Scanner dropping wireless connection during rapid scan bursts
The CVR2 and Memor draw current simultaneously from the wireless radio and the scan trigger during fast barcode reads. On a degraded or low cell, this combined inrush can pull voltage below the BMS protection threshold, causing the radio to drop momentarily and the scanner to lose its access point connection. A fresh, fully charged pack raises the voltage floor and keeps both loads stable through burst scanning. If dropouts persist with a charged pack, check that the cradle contact pins are clean and seating fully — a poor contact raises effective resistance and amplifies the sag.

Frequently Asked Questions
My CVR2 won't read barcodes right after I swapped in the new battery — is something wrong with the cell?
Nothing is wrong with the cell. A new Li-ion pack ships at partial charge, and the CVR2's laser or imager requires stable power above a minimum threshold to activate cleanly. Place the scanner in the cradle and run a full charge cycle before scanning. Once the pack is at full voltage, the imager will fire correctly on trigger press.
The cradle is flashing a charging error on the new pack but worked fine with the old battery — what's causing it?
Contact resistance is the most likely cause. Fingerprint oils and handling residue on the battery's gold contact strip create enough resistance that the dock cannot read pack voltage accurately. Wipe the contact strip with a dry lint-free cloth, reseat the scanner firmly until it clicks, and the charge indicator should activate within a few seconds. If it still faults, check the cradle pins for debris or corrosion and clear them before reseating.
The scanner feels warm after a long shift and scan rate seems to drop toward the end — is that normal?
Sustained scanning plus continuous wireless polling generates heat inside the Memor and CVR2's enclosed housing, and that is expected under heavy use. What is not normal is a consistent drop in scan responsiveness alongside the warmth — that points to the cell voltage sagging under combined radio and trigger load rather than a thermal issue. Confirm the pack reaches a full charge between shifts rather than being pulled at partial charge. At full charge, cell voltage should read at or above 4.1V on a meter before the shift begins.
