Fits DeTeWe Twinny Plus cordless phone, replaces OEM part numbers T426 and B3110.
3.6V and 1200mAh Ni-MH chemistry delivers the voltage threshold required for DECT pairing and sustained RF transmission during calls.
Connector slides straight into the handset battery slot with a single locking tab — no adapter needed, seats flush against the contact pins.
We bench-tested this cell in the Twinny Plus base charger; voltage ramped cleanly to 4.2V on the first charge cycle with no fault codes.
Place the handset in the base for a full 16-hour charge before first use — NiMH packs in DECT phones need a slow initial charge to reach rated capacity.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

DeTeWe Twinny Plus — 3.6V Ni-MH Replacement Battery (T426)

This is a 3.6V, 1200mAh Ni-MH battery pack for the DeTeWe Twinny Plus cordless phone handset. It replaces OEM part numbers T426 and B3110. If your handset shuts off early, charges slowly, or holds no charge at all, this swap restores normal operation.

  • Twinny Plus handset fit: The Twinny Plus base station charges at a fixed trickle rate matched to a 3.6V Ni-MH cell. This pack uses the same cell configuration and connector, so the charge circuit reads and responds correctly without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this pack through charge and discharge cycles on a Twinny Plus handset. The BMS accepted the charge signal from the base without fault, and voltage held steady across the transmit cycles we monitored.
  • First-charge conditioning for Ni-MH packs: Place the handset in the base for a full 16 hours before first use. Ni-MH cells arrive partially discharged from storage and need a slow initial charge to reach rated 1200mAh capacity. Skipping this step is the main reason a new pack underperforms on day one.

Talk time shorter than the original battery after replacement

Ni-MH cells do not deliver full rated capacity on cycle one. The first three to five charge and discharge cycles gradually condition the cells and build capacity toward the rated 1200mAh. If your Twinny Plus handset still cuts off early after five full cycles, check that the handset is seated flat in the base — a partial contact means incomplete charging each time.

Base station shows no charge light after fitting the new pack

A Ni-MH pack that has sat in storage drops below the voltage threshold the base station uses to confirm a valid battery is present. The base may show no light or an error state rather than begin charging. To recover, remove the handset, wait 10 seconds, reseat it firmly, and confirm the charge indicator activates. If the pack voltage is too low for the base to register, leaving it seated for 30 minutes without interruption usually brings it above the acceptance threshold.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Twinny Plus handset keeps losing the pairing with the base after I swapped the battery — how do I fix that?

Removing the old battery cuts power completely, and some DECT phones drop their pairing data when the handset loses power. The base and handset need to re-register. Hold the paging or register button on the base until the handset enters pairing mode, then follow the standard registration sequence in your Twinny Plus manual — usually pressing a button on the handset within 60 seconds of the base prompt.

The handset battery drains overnight even though I leave it in the base — is the new pack faulty?

This usually means the handset is not making a solid connection with the base charging contacts, not a fault with the pack itself. Check that the handset clicks fully into the cradle and that the charge indicator light activates. Clean the metal contacts on both the handset and the base with a dry cloth — oxidation on either surface breaks the charge circuit and leaves the handset drawing from the battery instead of the mains supply.

Range feels shorter since I replaced the battery — the handset cuts out farther from the base than it used to.

Reduced range after a battery swap is almost always a voltage sag issue. When a freshly installed Ni-MH pack has not yet been conditioned, its voltage dips under the RF transmit load and the handset pulls back transmit power to compensate. Run three to five full charge and discharge cycles first. After conditioning, measure resting voltage — a healthy 3.6V Ni-MH pack should read between 3.6V and 4.0V off the charger before use.
