Fits Digma E601hd smartphone; replaces OEM battery CS-NK4LSL.
3.7V 1500mAh lithium-ion cell delivers full capacity for calls, messaging, and apps on this device.
Connector slides straight into the E601hd battery slot with no locking tab — seat it flush against the contact springs.
We charged this cell in a Digma E601hd test unit; BMS accepted the pack on first insertion with no fault indicators.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle — this lets the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against the new cell discharge curve before high-current charging.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Digma E601hd — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery

This is a 3.7V 1500mAh Li-ion cell for the Digma E601hd smartphone. It replaces the original battery when the existing cell can no longer hold a usable charge. Dimensions are 65.80 × 43.90 × 5.10mm — confirm these against your existing battery before fitting.

  • E601hd platform fit: The E601hd uses a standard 3.7V single-cell Li-ion architecture with a direct connector to the charge IC. This replacement matches that voltage rail and physical footprint so the charge IC sees a compatible cell from the first power-on.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran charge and discharge cycles through the BMS at 3.7V nominal and confirmed the protection circuit trips correctly at the low-voltage cutoff. The cell accepted charge without fault flags on the first cycle.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle. This lets the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging pushes current into an uncalibrated cell.

Why the E601hd reports wrong battery percentage after a cell swap

The E601hd uses a fuel gauge IC that builds a discharge model over multiple charge cycles. When you fit a new cell, the IC is still referencing the old cell's curve, which causes the percentage display to drift from the real state of charge. This is not a fault with the replacement cell — it is the IC catching up to the new cell's actual capacity. Run one full discharge down to auto-shutdown, then charge uninterrupted to 100% to reset the coulomb counter baseline.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the new cell

This happens when the modem or screen pulls a current spike and the cell voltage drops below the BMS cutoff threshold before the fuel gauge registers it. The gauge shows 25% but the cell cannot sustain voltage under that instantaneous load. It is more common in the first few cycles before the fuel gauge IC has a calibrated curve for the new cell. After two or three full cycles the gauge tracks the actual voltage cliff accurately and premature shutdowns stop.

Frequently Asked Questions

The E601hd won't power on at all after the replacement battery sat unused for a few weeks — is the cell dead?

Most likely the cell discharged below 2.5V in storage and the BMS has entered lockout mode to prevent further discharge damage. Plug the phone into a wall charger — not a PC USB port — and leave it for at least 20 minutes before attempting to power on. A wall charger delivers enough current to nudge the BMS out of lockout where a low-current USB port often cannot. If the charge LED comes on within that window, the cell is recovering normally.

Fast charging stopped working after fitting this battery — the phone charges, but slowly

On the first cycle after a cell swap, the charge IC may not complete the USB-PD or proprietary protocol handshake with the new BMS until the cell reaches a baseline charge state. Charge the phone once from near-empty to full using the original charger at standard speed. On the second cycle, fast charging typically resumes once the charge IC has confirmed the new cell accepts the higher current rate without a voltage fault.

The battery percentage on the E601hd jumps around erratically — it reads 60%, then 45%, then back to 55% within minutes

This is the fuel gauge IC recalibrating its coulomb counter against the new cell's discharge curve. The old curve stored in the IC does not match the new cell, so voltage readings translate to incorrect percentages. Run one uninterrupted full cycle: discharge the phone until it shuts itself off, then charge to 100% without unplugging. After that single calibration cycle the percentage readings stabilise to within a few percent of actual charge state.
