This is a 3.6V, 700mAh Ni-MH replacement battery for the Doro Matra Dunea cordless phone range. It fits the Dunea 160C, 260C, 350C, 360C, and six additional models in the same series. Swap it when the original pack no longer holds a charge and the handset dies too quickly off the base.

Talk time shorter than original battery after replacement

NiMH cells ship in a partially discharged state and do not hit rated capacity on cycle one. The Dunea charging circuit delivers a trickle charge, so the first full charge takes the full 16-hour window. Capacity builds over three to five complete charge-and-use cycles. By cycle five, the pack should be delivering close to its 700mAh rating.

Dunea handset not pairing after battery swap

Removing power from the handset can wipe the DECT registration stored in volatile memory on some Dunea models. The base station and handset both need to go through a re-registration sequence before calls will work. On the Dunea range, hold the paging button on the base for three seconds, then follow the handset pairing prompt. If the handset shows no signal after that, repeat the process with the handset within one metre of the base.
