Fits Ecovacs Deebot Deepoo X600, ZN605, ZN606, ZN609 robotic vacuums; replaces OEM battery pack.
14.4V, 1800mAh Ni-MH pack delivers consistent voltage under motor load on carpet and hard floors.
Connector seats into the battery chamber with a single locking tab; orientation is keyed.
We bench-tested charge acceptance on the standard dock—BMS engaged cleanly, no fault cycles or early cutoff observed.
Do not leave the vacuum on the charging dock continuously; cordless vacuums on permanent dock charge develop capacity fade significantly faster than those charged only when depleted.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Ecovacs Deebot Deepoo X600 Series — 14.4V Ni-MH Replacement Battery

This 14.4V, 1800mAh Ni-MH battery replaces the original power cell in the Ecovacs Deebot Deepoo X600, ZN605, ZN606, and ZN609 robotic vacuum cleaners. It fits the same battery bay and connector as the factory unit. Capacity is rated at 25.92Wh, matching the original specification.

  • X600, ZN605, ZN606, ZN609 compatibility: These four models run the same 14.4V drive platform, use an identical battery bay footprint at 101.66 x 43.78 x 29.85mm, and share the same BMS voltage thresholds — so one cell fits all four without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on the Deebot platform. The BMS accepted full charge without fault codes, and the protection circuit tripped correctly at the low-voltage cutoff threshold during deep discharge testing.
  • Dock charging habit for Ni-MH cells: Ni-MH chemistry is more sensitive to trickle charge damage than Li-ion. Do not leave this robot sitting on the dock permanently between cleans — charge to full, then remove it. Continuous dock contact accelerates capacity fade in Ni-MH cells faster than occasional deep discharge cycles.

Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low on the X600

The X600 motor draws significantly more current when airflow is restricted — a partially blocked filter or clogged brush roll forces sustained high-draw operation. Under that load, a degraded Ni-MH cell shows voltage sag well before the battery gauge registers as low. The robot interprets the voltage drop as normal operation until the BMS cutoff triggers unexpectedly. Clean the filter and check the brush roll before attributing suction loss to the battery.

Motor cuts out mid-clean then recovers after a short pause

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. When sustained suction restriction forces the motor to draw above the BMS overcurrent threshold, the protection circuit shuts the cell output and resets after the internal temperature drops. The robot resumes because the BMS resets, not because the fault is cleared. Check the filter and inlet path first — if airflow is unrestricted and cutouts persist, measure resting voltage after a full charge; a healthy 14.4V Ni-MH pack should read between 16.5V and 17V fully charged.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Deebot X600 stops mid-clean and starts again a few minutes later — is that the battery?

That restart pattern is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a failing cell. When the motor sustains high current draw — usually from a blocked filter or tangled brush roll — the battery protection circuit cuts output and resets once internal heat drops. Clean the filter and clear the brush roll first. If cutouts continue with unrestricted airflow, charge the battery fully and measure pack voltage — it should read between 16.5V and 17V.

The robot cleans for a short time and then the suction feels noticeably weaker even though the battery light isn't low yet — what's happening?

A partially blocked filter forces the motor to draw more current than rated, which causes voltage sag in the Ni-MH cell before the gauge reflects it. The robot reads the voltage as acceptable but the motor is already running under reduced power. Remove and tap out the filter, then run a clean cycle — if suction holds steady, the filter was the cause. If suction still drops early after a filter clean, the battery cell has likely lost capacity and needs replacement.

I've had my replacement battery for a few months and the cleaning time has already dropped noticeably — what causes that?

Ni-MH cells degrade faster than Li-ion when kept on continuous trickle charge through the dock. If the X600 sits docked permanently between cleans, the charger maintains a low-level charge current that wears the cell chemistry over weeks. Remove the robot from the dock once the charge cycle completes and only redock when the battery is depleted. This single habit is the most common cause of early capacity fade in Ni-MH robotic vacuum batteries.
