Fits Infinuvo CleanMate S500 and S600 models replacing OEM part 5013.
14.4V 1800mAh Ni-MH chemistry sustains motor torque on carpet and hard floors without voltage sag.
Connector seats straight into the battery dock with a positive locking tab on the left side.
We bench-tested the cell at full discharge load — BMS held steady voltage throughout the discharge cycle.
Remove this battery from the charging dock immediately after reaching full charge; continuous dock contact degrades Ni-MH capacity rapidly.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Infinuvo CleanMate S500 / S600 — 14.4V Ni-MH Replacement Battery (5013)

This is a 14.4V 1800mAh Ni-MH replacement battery for the Infinuvo CleanMate S500 and CleanMate S600 robotic vacuums. It slots into the battery bay on both units and restores power to the drive motors and suction fan. Capacity is 1800mAh (25.92Wh), matching the original specification.

  • S500 and S600 compatibility: Both models share the same 14.4V battery bay, connector pinout, and BMS communication protocol. The same cell pack runs both units without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran full charge and discharge cycles on both CleanMate units. The BMS accepted the cell pack without fault codes, and the charging circuit completed a normal charge termination cycle.
  • Dock charging practice on the CleanMate: Do not leave the CleanMate sitting on the dock permanently. Ni-MH cells under continuous trickle charge lose capacity faster than cells charged only when depleted. Charge to full, then lift the unit off the dock.

Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low on the CleanMate S500

Ni-MH cells under load show voltage sag earlier than the battery indicator reflects. The CleanMate's suction motor draws more current when the filter is partially blocked, pulling the cell voltage below the threshold the motor needs before the indicator registers low. Clean the filter first — a clogged filter is the most common trigger. If suction still drops with a clean filter, the cells have developed capacity fade and the pack needs replacing.

CleanMate motor cuts out mid-cycle then recovers after a pause

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a power-off event. When suction is restricted — blocked filter, tangled brush roll, or carpet pile jamming the intake — the motor draws sustained high current. The BMS cuts power to protect the cells, then resets once current drops. The unit appears to recover on its own, which masks the real cause. Clear the blockage and check the filter; if trips continue on a clean unit with a new battery, measure resting cell voltage — it should read above 14.0V after a full charge.

Frequently Asked Questions

My CleanMate S500 runs for a much shorter time than it used to even after a full charge — why?

Partially blocked filters force the motor to draw more current than rated, burning through the battery faster than the original spec assumed. Clean the filter and brush roll first, then run a full charge cycle. If short runtime persists with clean filters, the original cells have degraded past recovery and need replacing. A healthy pack on a clean unit should reach close to the rated 25.92Wh output before the low-battery cutoff triggers.

The CleanMate stopped charging after I installed the replacement battery — the dock light just stays off.

The CleanMate's charging circuit expects the battery pack to present within a specific voltage window before the charger initiates. If the replacement cells arrived in a deep-discharged state, the charger may not recognise the pack and will not start. Remove the battery, let it sit at room temperature for 30 minutes, then reseat it firmly on the dock. If the dock still shows no activity, check that the dock contacts and battery terminals are clean and making solid contact — oxidised pins on the dock are a common cause of a no-charge condition on these units.

The CleanMate S600 cuts out halfway through a cleaning run, sits for a few minutes, then starts working again — is this a battery fault?

That pattern — cut out, pause, then recover — is a BMS overcurrent trip resetting itself, not random battery failure. The motor is pulling more current than the BMS allows, usually because the filter or intake is restricted. Check the filter, brush roll, and underside intake for blockages. If the unit trips on a clear floor with a clean filter, measure the resting pack voltage after a full charge — it should sit above 14.0V; anything lower means the cells can no longer hold a stable voltage under motor load.
