This is a 3.7V, 1000mAh Li-ion replacement cell for the Emporia V32, Click V32, and Click V32C smartphones. It fits the original battery bay and uses the same connector and contact layout as the factory AK-V32 unit. Swap it in when the original cell no longer holds a charge or causes unexpected shutdowns.

Why the Emporia V32 reports wrong battery percentage after a cell swap

The V32 uses a fuel gauge IC that tracks charge state by modelling the cell's discharge curve — not by measuring raw voltage alone. When you replace the cell, the IC still holds the old curve in memory. The percentage readout drifts because the new cell's voltage profile doesn't match that stored model. One full discharge down to automatic shutdown, followed by a full charge to 100% with the screen on, forces the IC to relearn the curve and restore accurate reporting.

Emporia V32 shuts off suddenly at 20–30% charge remaining

This happens when the cell voltage drops below the modem's minimum supply threshold under load — even though the fuel gauge still shows charge remaining. A degraded or deeply discharged cell sags in voltage the moment the modem transmits or the screen brightens. The BMS reads that sag as a cutoff condition and shuts the phone down. After fitting the replacement cell, charge it fully to 4.2V before the first call to confirm the cell is not starting from a storage-depleted state.
