Fits Eufy E330, S230, S330, and eufyCam models; replaces OEM part T8520S.
3.7V, 8800mAh lithium-ion cell delivers sustained power for motion detection and wireless recording cycles.
Connector slides straight into the camera housing with a positive-contact fit and retention tab.
We bench-tested the BMS on a live E330 unit; voltage ramp held steady through IR LED peaks.
On first install, power cycle the camera once through the app — firmware must register the new cell before motion recording logs correctly to cloud storage.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Eufy E330 / S330 Series — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (T8520S)

This is a 3.7V, 8800mAh (32.56Wh) lithium-ion battery for Eufy wireless security cameras using OEM part number T8520S. It fits the E330, S230 3-in-1 Video Smart Lock, S330, and S330 eufyCam, among other compatible models. Swap it in when the original cell no longer holds enough charge to sustain continuous recording and motion detection.

  • E330 and S330 platform compatibility: These models share the same battery housing, connector orientation, and BMS voltage thresholds — 3.7V nominal with cutoff at the same low-voltage floor. One cell fits across the entire platform without wiring or hardware modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through simulated motion-trigger events, monitoring BMS behaviour at both the IR LED activation spike and the WiFi reconnect draw. The BMS held stable across both high-current moments without triggering a false cutoff.
  • First-install firmware registration: After fitting the new cell, power cycle the camera once through the Eufy app. The camera's firmware must re-register the battery before motion events log correctly to cloud storage — skipping this step can cause missed clips despite the battery reading as charged.

App showing 0% or wrong percentage after installing this battery

Eufy cameras use a voltage-threshold indicator, not a fuel gauge IC. When a new cell goes in, the camera reads an unfamiliar voltage curve and maps it incorrectly until calibrated. One full charge-and-discharge cycle resets the thresholds. After that cycle, the app percentage should track the actual cell state accurately from around 4.2V full down to the 3.0V cutoff floor.

Recording stops mid-clip on weak WiFi signal

When the camera loses WiFi and immediately retries, the reconnect handshake pulls a short but sharp current spike. On a degraded original battery, that spike can cross the BMS overcurrent threshold and trigger a cutoff mid-recording. This replacement cell's higher internal headroom keeps the voltage from sagging below the trip point during that event. If clips still cut short, check that the camera sits within reliable WiFi range — move the access point or add a mesh node closer to the camera.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Eufy E330 camera went offline in the app right after I put the new battery in — what happened?

The camera loses its firmware session token when power is fully interrupted during a battery swap. The app treats it as an unregistered device. Open the Eufy Security app, go to the device settings for that camera, and run a manual sync or re-add the device if it doesn't reconnect within two minutes. This is a firmware handshake issue, not a battery fault.

Night vision kicks on but the camera goes to sleep within minutes — is the IR draw too high for this cell?

The sustained current draw from the IR LED array at night is one of the heavier loads this camera puts on its battery. If the original cell was depleted below 3.0V before removal, the BMS may have entered a low-voltage lockout state that carries over to startup behaviour. Charge the new battery fully to 4.2V before reinstalling, then power cycle through the app to let the firmware reset its sleep thresholds correctly.

The solar panel was keeping the original battery topped up, but it's not charging this new cell at all — why?

Solar panels on these systems feed through a charge controller that requires the battery to present a minimum voltage before it opens the charge path — typically around 3.2V. A brand-new cell shipped in storage mode may sit below that re-entry threshold. Connect the camera to a USB power source for 15–20 minutes to bring the cell voltage above 3.2V, then reconnect the solar panel — the charge controller will recognise the cell and resume normal solar topping.
