Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Eufy L70 Hybrid — 14.4V Li-ion Replacement Battery (INR18650M26-4S2P)
This is a 14.4V, 6700mAh Li-ion battery pack for the Eufy L70 Hybrid robot vacuum. It fits the L70 Hybrid, Robovac L70 Hybrid, T2190, and T2190G21 models. The pack restores full suction and brush motor operation across both hard floor and carpet cleaning modes.
- L70 Hybrid platform fit: The T2190 and T2190G21 share the same 14.4V power rail, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol as the L70 Hybrid chassis. One battery cell configuration serves all four model variants without modification.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this pack through full cleaning cycles on the L70 Hybrid. The BMS held stable under motor-start surge on carpet mode and responded correctly to the charger's handshake — no false low-battery shutdowns observed.
- Dock charging discipline: Do not leave the L70 Hybrid sitting on the charging dock indefinitely between uses. Continuous dock contact keeps the BMS in a trickle-charge loop that degrades cell capacity faster than normal cycling. Charge to full, then remove the vacuum from the dock until the next scheduled run.
Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low
The L70 Hybrid's suction motor draws peak current whenever it hits carpet or a partially blocked filter. If the battery pack's internal resistance has risen — common in degraded cells — voltage sags under that load even when state-of-charge reads mid-range. The BMS interprets the voltage drop as a near-empty pack and throttles motor output to protect the cells. Replacing the pack eliminates the sag; cleaning the filter first ensures the new pack isn't immediately overloaded by restricted airflow.
Motor cuts out briefly then recovers during a cleaning run
This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a software fault. When suction is restricted — blocked filter, tangled brush roll, or the vacuum riding over a thick rug edge — the motor draws a sustained spike above the BMS threshold and the circuit opens momentarily. The vacuum pauses, the BMS resets, and the motor restarts. Clear the filter and check the brush roll for hair wrap first. If trips continue on a clean filter with a new battery, the current threshold on the replacement pack is working correctly — the issue is mechanical restriction, not the cell.

Frequently Asked Questions
My L70 Hybrid suction feels weak halfway through a clean but the battery indicator still shows plenty of charge — what's happening?
The battery's internal resistance has risen as the cells aged, so voltage sags under motor load even when state-of-charge reads mid-range. The BMS responds to that voltage drop by throttling motor power before the indicator catches up. A blocked or dirty filter makes this worse — it forces the motor to draw more current than rated, accelerating the sag. Fit the new pack and clean the filter before the first run.
The vacuum keeps cutting out and restarting every few minutes during carpet cleaning — is the battery tripping?
Yes — the BMS is hitting its overcurrent threshold. Sustained restricted airflow on carpet forces the motor to draw a spike above the BMS cut-off, which opens the circuit and causes the brief dropout. Check the filter for blockage and remove any hair wrap from the brush roll before blaming the battery. If the cutouts stop after clearing the restriction, the BMS is functioning correctly. If cutouts persist on a clean filter with the new pack, check the brush roll bearings for drag.
The replacement battery charged once fine, but now the L70 Hybrid won't register it on the dock — no charging light, nothing happens.
This points to a BMS communication issue between the pack and the dock's charge controller. Some dock units expect a specific handshake signal from the battery BMS before initiating charge. Remove the battery, wait 60 seconds, reinstall it firmly until the connector clicks, then place the vacuum on the dock again. If the dock still shows no activity, connect the vacuum directly to the AC adapter rather than the dock to confirm the fault is dock-side, not pack-side.
