Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Xiaomi S20plus — 14.4V Li-ion Replacement Battery (P2150-4S2P-SCEV)
This is a 14.4V, 6700mAh lithium-ion replacement battery for the Xiaomi S20plus cordless stick vacuum. It slots into the S20plus body using the original mounting points and connector. Voltage and cell configuration match the factory specification at P2150-4S2P-SCEV.
- S20plus platform fit: The S20plus uses a 4S2P cell arrangement — four cells in series for the 14.4V rail, two in parallel for capacity. This battery replicates that layout, so the BMS handshake with the vacuum's charge controller proceeds without fault codes or inhibited charging.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through full discharge and recharge sequences while monitoring BMS cutoff thresholds. The protection circuit tripped correctly at the low-voltage floor and cleared on charger reconnection — no latching faults observed.
- Dock charging habit on the S20plus: Leave the S20plus on its charging dock continuously and the trickle current degrades cell capacity faster than normal cycling does. Charge to full, then remove the vacuum from the dock. Reconnect only when the battery is depleted.
Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low
The S20plus motor draws a significant current spike when suction is restricted — a clogged filter or partial blockage forces the motor to work harder than rated load. Under that elevated draw, the battery's internal resistance causes a voltage sag that the motor controller reads as a depleted pack. The vacuum loses power even though the indicator still shows charge remaining. Clear the filter and check the nozzle for blockages before assuming the battery is at fault — if suction recovers after clearing, the cell is still good.
Motor cutting out mid-clean and recovering after a few seconds
This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. When sustained suction restriction pushes current above the protection circuit's threshold, the BMS shuts the output to protect the cells — usually for two to ten seconds before resetting. The pattern is cut-out, brief pause, then restart. Check the filter first; a partially blocked filter is the most common trigger. If the cutouts continue on a clean filter, measure resting voltage — a healthy pack at partial charge should read above 13.5V.

Frequently Asked Questions
My S20plus battery shows full charge but suction is noticeably weaker than when the vacuum was new — what's happening?
Capacity fade from repeated shallow cycles or continuous dock charging reduces the total energy the cells can deliver, which means the motor receives less sustained current under load. The indicator still reads full because it measures voltage at rest, not usable capacity. A battery that reads 14.4V open-circuit but sags below 13V under motor load is the typical pattern here. Replace the battery and remove it from the dock once charging is complete — continuous dock charging is the fastest route back to the same problem.
The S20plus cuts out after a few seconds on high-power mode, then restarts on its own — is the battery faulty?
That cut-and-recover pattern is the BMS tripping on overcurrent, not a failed cell. High-power mode on the S20plus pulls significantly more current, and if the filter is even partially clogged, motor resistance spikes the draw further until the protection circuit shuts the output. We reproduced this on the bench with a restricted nozzle — the BMS cleared within seconds each time. Clean the filter thoroughly and test again; if cutouts stop, the battery is fine.
The replacement battery won't charge on the Xiaomi dock — the charger light stays on standby and never switches to charging mode.
The S20plus charger performs a BMS handshake before it initiates a charge cycle — if the battery's protection circuit is in a deep-discharge lockout state, the charger will not start. Sit the battery on the dock for 10–15 minutes anyway; some BMS units require a low trickle to recover from lockout before the full charge handshake completes. If the charger still does not respond, verify the battery contacts are fully seated and the dock pins are clean and making solid contact. A resting voltage below 10V on the pack indicates deep discharge — the BMS recovery trickle should bring it above that threshold within 15 minutes.
