Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

360 S6 Pro / S9 / X90 / X95 — 14.4V Li-ion Replacement Battery (D080-4S2P)
This is a 14.4V, 6700mAh lithium-ion battery pack for the 360 S6 Pro, S9, X90, and X95 cordless stick vacuums. It replaces OEM part numbers D080-4S2P and INR18650 M26-4S2P. Capacity is 96.48Wh — matching the original specification for full motor output.
- S6 Pro, S9, X90, and X95 compatibility: These four models share the same 14.4V battery rail, physical connector, and BMS handshake protocol. The pack slots directly into any of them without modification or adapter.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this pack through charge and discharge cycles on the S6 Pro platform. The BMS reported correct cell voltage, accepted the charger handshake, and the motor spun up to full speed without triggering overcurrent cutoff.
- Dock charging habit on the S6 Pro and X-series: Do not leave the vacuum sitting on the charging dock permanently. Continuous trickle charging accelerates capacity fade in these packs faster than normal cycle wear. Charge to full, then remove the vacuum from the dock.
Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low
This happens when the motor draws more current than the BMS's continuous discharge threshold allows under load — not because the battery is depleted. A partially blocked filter or brush roll forces the motor to pull harder, causing voltage sag at the cell level. The BMS reads the sag as a low-cell condition and throttles output to protect the pack. Clean the filter and clear the brush roll before concluding the battery is at fault.
Motor cuts out mid-clean then recovers after a short pause
This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a failing battery. When suction is restricted — blocked filter, clogged hose, or dense carpet — the motor draws a sustained current spike above the pack's rated continuous output. The BMS cuts the circuit to protect the cells, then resets once temperature and current normalise. Check the filter first: a filter that reads visually clean can still be restricting airflow enough to trigger the trip. Replace the filter if the cutout persists after clearing all blockages.

Frequently Asked Questions
My 360 S6 Pro charges fine but suction feels weak from the start — is the new battery faulty?
Weak suction from a fully charged pack almost always points to airflow restriction, not cell capacity. A partially blocked filter forces the motor to work harder, pulling more current and causing voltage sag before the battery is meaningfully depleted. Remove and clean or replace the filter, then test again on a hard floor with no attachments. If suction is still noticeably reduced, check cell voltage under load — it should hold above 13.0V during normal operation.
The vacuum motor keeps cutting out for a few seconds then comes back on — why does this keep happening with a new battery?
That cut-and-recover pattern is the BMS tripping on an overcurrent spike, not a defective pack. Sustained high-draw conditions — thick carpet, a tangled brush roll, or a clogged hose — push the motor's current draw above the pack's continuous discharge rating. The BMS cuts the circuit to protect the cells and resets automatically once current drops. Clear the brush roll and check the filter; if the trips stop, the pack is working exactly as it should.
This replacement battery isn't charging on my 360 X90 — the charger light stays green immediately instead of showing a charge cycle.
A charger that skips straight to green typically means it isn't detecting a valid BMS handshake from the pack. First, check that the battery is fully seated — the connector pins on the X-series are recessed and a partial fit breaks the signal. If seating it firmly doesn't change the charger behaviour, let the pack sit on the charger for 10 minutes with the vacuum powered off; some BMS units require a low-current pre-charge pulse before the handshake completes. If the charger still reads green with no heat in the pack, verify you are using the original 360 charger — third-party chargers sometimes output the wrong handshake voltage.
