This 3V, 2200mAh lithium-manganese dioxide cell replaces the backup battery in the Fanuc A04B-0236-H211 and Series 180is-WB PLC controllers. It maintains SRAM memory and the real-time clock when mains power is removed. Dimensions are 45.50 × 18.70 × 16.80mm — verify against your existing cell before fitting.

The real-time clock on the Fanuc 180is-WB is showing the wrong date and time after the battery swap — is the new cell faulty?
The RTC is not faulty. If the controller was powered off during the swap — even briefly — the clock lost its reference and reset to a default or zero value. The new cell cannot restore clock data that was already lost.
