Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

ZTE MF975 / MF975S — 3.7V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (LI3827T43P3H544780)
This 3.7V 2500mAh Li-Polymer battery replaces the original ZTE LI3827T43P3H544780 cell in the MF975 and MF975S portable WiFi hotspot. It also fits the 306ZT and 303ZT variants. Swap it when the original cell no longer holds enough charge to keep the hotspot running through a typical session.
- MF975 / MF975S / 306ZT / 303ZT platform fit: These models share the same battery bay dimensions, 3.7V nominal rail, and connector pinout. The BMS handshake protocol is identical across the group, so the replacement initialises without any firmware prompts on any of them.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell in an MF975S with five simultaneous client devices connected. The BMS held voltage above 3.5V under sustained combined modem and WiFi load, and the protection circuit tripped correctly at the low-voltage cutoff threshold — no unexpected shutdowns during the test cycle.
- Ventilation during extended sessions: Keep the MF975 on a hard, flat surface with the vents unobstructed when running continuous sessions. The cellular radio pushes to maximum transmit power when connected clients move to the edge of WiFi range, and that sustained RF load raises cell temperature faster than normal browsing use.
Why the MF975 drops all connected clients mid-session
The MF975 runs two power-hungry subsystems simultaneously — a cellular modem and a WiFi radio. At maximum client connections, the combined current draw pulls the cell voltage down faster than the BMS anticipates under light-use calibration. If the cell is aged or the replacement is undercharged, the BMS reads that sag as a low-voltage fault and cuts output to protect the cell. The hotspot reboots, and every connected device loses its session. A fully charged new cell with a healthy internal resistance handles the surge without the voltage dropping below the BMS trip threshold.
Hotspot shows power button activity but won't boot after sitting unused
Li-Polymer cells self-discharge slowly during storage. If the MF975 sits unused for several weeks, the cell can drop below 3.0V — the minimum voltage the boot firmware requires to initialise the modem and OS. Below that threshold, pressing the power button may flash an LED or show a brief screen pulse, but the unit won't complete its boot sequence. Connect the hotspot to its charger and leave it for at least 20–30 minutes before attempting to power on. Once the cell recovers to approximately 3.2V, the boot sequence will complete normally.

Frequently Asked Questions
My MF975 keeps dropping all Wi-Fi clients at the same time, then reboots — is that a battery problem?
Yes, this is a voltage sag fault. When the MF975 runs at maximum client connections, the combined modem and Wi-Fi draw pulls cell voltage down sharply. If the battery can't sustain that load, the BMS cuts output and the unit reboots, disconnecting every session at once. A new cell with low internal resistance holds voltage above the BMS trip threshold under that combined draw — the disconnections stop.
The MF975 burns through a full charge much faster in one location than another — what's happening?
Signal strength is the cause. In a poor-signal area, the cellular radio ramps to maximum transmit power to maintain the data connection. That sustained maximum-power RF draw significantly increases current from the cell compared to use in a strong-signal area. Moving the hotspot closer to a window or an exterior wall — even a metre or two — reduces transmit power demand and extends the charge cycle measurably.
The MF975 was in a drawer for two months and now it won't turn on at all — is the battery dead?
Not necessarily. Li-Polymer cells self-discharge in storage, and two months is enough to drop the cell below 3.0V — the minimum the boot firmware needs to start the modem and OS. Plug the hotspot into its charger and leave it connected for 20–30 minutes without pressing the power button. Once the cell recovers to around 3.2V, press and hold the power button and the boot sequence should complete.
