This 3.7V 750mAh Li-Polymer battery replaces the original cell in the Floureon VB601, VB603, and VB605 baby monitor parent units. Part number 79232 is the OEM reference for all three models. When the parent unit stops holding a charge or dies mid-session, this is the direct swap.

• VB601, VB603, and VB605 compatibility: All three parent units use the same 3.7V single-cell Li-Polymer pack with identical connector pinout and BMS handshake. The 79232 part number spans the range because Floureon kept the battery bay unchanged across these revisions.

The VB601 parent unit draws continuous power when the screen stays active — backlight, radio receiver, and speaker amplifier all run simultaneously during night-time monitoring. Set it to 30 seconds or less so the display goes dark while the audio channel stays live.

Night vision not working after battery replacement

The camera unit's IR LEDs draw a spike of current at activation, and the parent unit's radio link is voltage-sensitive enough that a partially charged new battery can disrupt the feed during that spike. The result looks like night vision failure but it is actually a dropped link triggered by a voltage dip. Charge the new battery to 4.2V before first use — not just enough to power on. Once fully charged, the IR activation no longer causes a feed drop.
