Fits Fly MC155, IQ4401, and Era Energy 2 smartphones; replaces OEM battery BL3707.
3.7V, 2500mAh lithium-ion cell delivers 9.25Wh — sufficient for calling, messaging, and standard app use.
Connector aligns vertically into the battery slot with a single mechanical locking tab on the left edge.
We ran a full discharge cycle on the MC155; the BMS accepted the cell without fault codes and held voltage under active load.
On first charge after installation, complete one full discharge-charge cycle without fast charging enabled — this allows the fuel gauge IC to recalibrate against the new cell's discharge curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Fly MC155 / IQ4401 Era Energy 2 — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (BL3707)

This is a 3.7V, 2500mAh Li-ion replacement battery for the Fly MC155, IQ4401, and Era Energy 2 smartphones. It uses the BL3707 part number and fits the original battery bay without modification. Capacity is 9.25Wh — matched to the product data, not estimated from web sources.

  • MC155, IQ4401, and Era Energy 2 compatibility: All three models share the BL3707 footprint, the same 3.7V nominal voltage rail, and the same connector pinout. The BMS handshake on each device accepts this cell without triggering a reject flag.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell on an MC155 unit and monitored charge termination, BMS cutoff thresholds, and voltage behaviour under screen-on and modem-active loads. The BMS held within spec across three full cycles.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: After installing this cell, disable fast charging and run one complete discharge-to-charge cycle before normal use. The fuel gauge IC on these Fly devices calibrates its coulomb counter against the cell's discharge curve — skipping this step causes erratic percentage readings for the first several days.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the Fly MC155 after a cell swap

This happens because the fuel gauge IC is still reading the discharge curve of the old, degraded cell. When the modem fires or the screen brightness spikes, current draw pulls the new cell's voltage below the BMS cutoff threshold faster than the gauge expects — so the phone cuts out even though the reported percentage looks safe. The fix is one full discharge-to-charge cycle with no fast charging. After that cycle, the coulomb counter resets against the new cell's actual discharge profile and the shutdowns stop.

Fly IQ4401 / Era Energy 2 not powering on after the battery sat discharged in storage

Li-ion cells drop below the BMS re-enable threshold of 2.5V per cell if left discharged for weeks. When that happens, the BMS locks the output rail and the phone shows nothing — not even a charging indicator. Connect the phone to a wall charger rated at least 5V/1A and leave it undisturbed for 20–30 minutes before pressing the power button. The charge IC trickle-feeds current to bring the cell back above 2.5V, at which point the BMS re-enables the output and the phone boots normally.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Fly MC155 keeps shutting off at around 25% after I put in the new battery — is this a faulty cell?

The cell is almost certainly fine. The fuel gauge IC on the MC155 calibrated its discharge curve to the old, worn-out battery, so it misjudges how much voltage the new cell can sustain under load — when the modem or screen pulls a spike of current, the phone hits BMS cutoff voltage before the gauge reads zero. Run one complete discharge-to-charge cycle with fast charging turned off. After that single cycle the coulomb counter recalibrates to the new cell and the premature shutdowns stop.

The battery percentage on my IQ4401 jumps around erratically — it reads 60%, then drops to 40% in minutes without heavy use.

This is the fuel gauge IC losing position on the new cell's discharge curve. The IQ4401 uses a coulomb counter that tracks charge in and out from a baseline; swap the cell and that baseline is stale. The counter drifts, so the percentage readout jumps. Do one full discharge — let the phone run until it shuts itself off — then charge uninterrupted to 100%. That single full cycle reanchors the counter and the percentage readout stabilises.

Fast charging stopped working on my Era Energy 2 the day after I replaced the battery — it was working fine at first.

Some Era Energy 2 units run a one-cycle validation handshake between the charge IC and the new BMS before enabling the higher current path. On the first cycle the charger defaults to standard 5V/1A to measure cell impedance; if the session was interrupted or the phone restarted mid-charge, that handshake resets. Charge the phone from below 10% to 100% in a single uninterrupted session using the original wall adapter. Once that session completes cleanly, the charge IC re-enables the fast charge path on the next plug-in.
