Fits Flyer C10, C10 HS, C11 HS, C12 HS and 37 additional models; replaces OEM battery CS-PFC120SL.
25.2V, 18000mAh lithium-ion pack delivers 453.6Wh to sustain motor assist on climbs without voltage sag dropout.
XT60 connector with keyed polarity; slides into frame downtube slot with locking tab seated flush against the housing.
We bench-tested the BMS under sustained motor draw on a 12° incline; cell group stayed balanced and cutoff held at 21V.
On first ride after winter storage, charge slowly for 30 minutes before pedaling — cold cells have high internal resistance and fast charging causes anode damage that cuts cycle life in half.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Flyer C10 / C11 / C12 HS Series — 25.2V Li-ion Replacement Battery

This is a 25.2V, 18000mAh (453.6Wh) lithium-ion battery for the Flyer C10, C10 HS, C11 HS, C12 HS, and over 37 additional Flyer e-bike models. It replaces the original pack when cells have degraded and the bike can no longer complete a full ride without cutting power. Voltage and capacity match the factory specification for these frames.

  • C10 / C11 / C12 HS platform fit: These models share the same 25.2V battery rail, frame dock, and BMS handshake protocol. A single pack covers the full range because the motor controller accepts the same charge profile and connector across all three lines.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this pack through motor-assist load profiles, including sustained hill-climb draw. The BMS held cutoff thresholds correctly and recovered cleanly after simulated low-cell-voltage events.
  • First charge after winter storage: If the bike has sat through a cold season, charge the pack at a low rate before the first ride. Cold Li-ion cells have elevated internal resistance — fast charging below 10°C causes lithium plating on the anode that permanently cuts cycle life.

Motor cutting out mid-hill on a new battery

A sustained climb pulls more current than flat riding. If cell groups inside the pack are even slightly unbalanced, the BMS reads a voltage drop on the weakest group and trips the output to protect those cells. This looks like a sudden power cut rather than a gradual fade. On a new pack, this can also occur if the battery shipped partially discharged — run a full charge cycle first and the BMS will balance the groups before the next ride.

Charger LED stays green instantly and pack shows no charge

A charger that flashes green immediately after connection is not completing a charge — it is rejecting the pack. This happens when cell voltage has dropped below the charger's acceptance threshold, usually after extended storage. Connect the charger and leave it for 30 minutes without interrupting the connection. Most Flyer chargers will begin a recovery charge once the BMS detects enough input voltage to re-initialise, typically above 20V at the pack terminals.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Flyer C10 motor cuts out on steep hills but works fine on flat ground — is the new battery faulty?

This is a BMS trip under sustained high-current draw, not a defective cell. When climbing, the motor pulls peak current that causes the weakest cell group to sag below the BMS cutoff threshold, and the pack shuts output to prevent damage. It does not mean the battery is bad — it means the cells need a full balance cycle. Charge the pack completely, let it sit on the charger for an extra 30 minutes after the green light appears, then attempt the same hill.

The e-bike shows much shorter range on cold mornings even with a fully charged new pack — what's happening?

Li-ion cells lose 15–25% of usable capacity below 5°C because internal resistance rises and the cells cannot deliver full current without voltage sag. The battery is not damaged — the capacity returns as the pack warms up during the ride. Store the battery indoors overnight before a cold-weather ride and fit it to the bike just before you leave, not hours ahead.

After the Flyer battery sat unused for two months, the charger won't start a charge cycle — how do I fix it?

Cell voltage has likely dropped below the charger's minimum acceptance level, which on most Flyer chargers sits around 20V at the pack. Plug the charger in and leave it connected for at least 30 minutes without unplugging — the charger monitors pack voltage and will begin a trickle charge once the BMS re-initialises. If the charger still shows no activity after 30 minutes, check the pack terminal voltage with a multimeter; a reading above 18V means the BMS can recover with a sustained low-current input.
