Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Victoria Assen / NLD 03 / Sevilla — 25.2V Li-ion Replacement Battery
This 25.2V 18000mAh (453.6Wh) lithium-ion battery fits the Victoria Assen, NLD 03, and Sevilla electric bikes. It replaces the original pack when capacity has faded from regular charge cycles. Voltage and form factor match the stock battery housing and connector layout on these frames.
- Assen, NLD 03, and Sevilla compatibility: These three Victoria models share the same 25.2V battery rail, connector pinout, and BMS communication protocol — which is why one pack services all three. Swapping between them requires no wiring changes.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this pack through full charge and discharge on a 25.2V e-bike test rig. The BMS held steady through simulated motor-start current spikes and re-engaged correctly after a low-voltage cutoff event.
- Winter storage charge protocol: After winter storage, charge this battery slowly before the first ride. Cold Li-ion cells carry higher internal resistance, and fast charging below 10°C causes lithium plating on the anode that permanently reduces cycle count.
E-bike motor cutting out mid-hill on a fresh battery
Sustained climbing draws peak current for longer than flat riding — sometimes long enough to trigger the BMS overcurrent cutoff. This is not a battery fault. The BMS trips to protect the cells when sustained draw exceeds the pack's rated discharge ceiling. Releasing the throttle for two to three seconds resets the BMS latch and restores power. If cutouts happen on moderate gradients, check that the battery terminals are fully seated — a loose connection raises contact resistance and pushes the BMS into protection mode at lower current thresholds.
Charger showing no charge activity after the bike sat unused for months
A pack left discharged for several months can drop below the charger's minimum acceptance voltage — most e-bike chargers refuse to push current into a pack reading below roughly 20V at the terminals. The BMS has also likely engaged deep-discharge lockout. Connect the charger and leave it attached for 30 minutes without interruption; the trickle stage will slowly raise cell voltage until the BMS unlocks and normal charge resumes. If the charger LED never transitions from red to green after 60 minutes, check the charger output voltage with a multimeter — it should read at least 29.4V off-load.

Frequently Asked Questions
My Victoria Assen cuts out completely when I hit a steep hill — then comes back after I stop pedalling. What's happening?
The BMS is tripping on sustained overcurrent during the climb. Long inclines keep motor draw at or above peak current for longer than short flat bursts, and the BMS cuts power to protect the cells. Stop pedalling for two to three seconds — this resets the BMS latch and power returns. If it keeps happening on moderate gradients, check the battery is fully locked into the frame dock; a loose connection raises contact resistance and lowers the current threshold that triggers the cutoff.
My Victoria e-bike range dropped noticeably on the first cold morning of the year — battery was fully charged the night before.
Li-ion capacity drops 15–25% in temperatures below 5°C because cold slows the electrochemical reaction inside each cell, raising internal resistance and reducing usable voltage under load. The charge you put in overnight is still there — the cold is limiting how fast the pack can deliver it to the motor. Store the battery indoors overnight and fit it to the bike just before you ride. Range returns to normal once cell temperature climbs above 10°C, which usually happens within the first few kilometres of pedalling.
My Victoria Sevilla motor stutters and hesitates under heavy load on inclines — it doesn't cut out fully, just bogs down.
This is voltage sag — under high motor load, the pack voltage dips temporarily because the cells can't deliver current fast enough without a brief drop in terminal voltage. The motor controller sees lower voltage and reduces output to compensate, which feels like a stutter or hesitation. It differs from a full BMS cutout because power never drops to zero. Check the battery's state of charge before steep sections — voltage sag is worst below 30% charge, so keeping the pack above 40% on hilly routes reduces the effect significantly.
