Fits Moosoo X6 cordless stick vacuum cleaner, replaces OEM part XL-618A battery.
22.2V lithium-ion cell delivers 2000mAh capacity; motor maintains full suction through cleaning cycles.
Connector slides onto the dock contact plate with a quarter-turn locking tab engagement.
We bench-tested the pack against the factory charger dock; BMS accepted charge handshake on first insertion.
Do not leave this battery on the charging dock permanently — continuous trickle charge degrades capacity within weeks, so charge to full and remove until next use.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Moosoo X6 — 22.2V Li-ion Replacement Battery (XL-618A)

This is a 22.2V 2000mAh Li-ion replacement battery for the Moosoo X6 cordless stick vacuum. It uses OEM part number XL-618A and fits directly into the X6 battery compartment. When the original cell degrades and suction drops off early, this is the replacement that restores the vacuum to working condition.

  • X6 platform fitment: The X6 runs a 22.2V six-cell Li-ion pack with a specific connector and BMS handshake. This replacement matches that voltage rail and connector so the vacuum's power management system recognises the pack and allows normal operation.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on the X6 platform. The BMS accepted the pack without error, the motor spun up to full speed, and cutoff protection triggered correctly at low-cell voltage before damage could occur.
  • Dock charging habit on the X6: Do not leave the X6 sitting on the dock continuously. Cordless vacuums on permanent dock charge develop capacity fade faster than those charged only when depleted. Charge to full, then remove the vacuum from the dock.

Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low

A degraded Li-ion pack loses voltage under motor load faster than at rest, so the indicator still reads mid-charge while actual cell voltage sags below what the motor needs for full suction. The X6 motor draws harder when the filter is partially blocked, which accelerates that voltage sag further. This creates a pattern where suction feels weak well before the vacuum signals low battery. Check and clean the filter first — if suction recovers, the battery still has capacity left.

Motor cutting out and restarting during a cleaning run

If the X6 motor cuts out briefly then recovers on its own, the BMS has tripped on an overcurrent condition — not a dead battery. A blocked filter forces the motor to work harder, pulling current above the BMS threshold and triggering a protective shutdown. The BMS resets once current drops, which is why the motor restarts seconds later. Clean or replace the filter and confirm the airpath is clear before assuming the battery is at fault.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Moosoo X6 has noticeably weaker suction but the battery light isn't showing low — what's happening?

A worn Li-ion cell sags in voltage under motor load even when it reads fine at rest, so the indicator stays green while actual output voltage falls below what the motor needs. A restricted filter makes this worse — the motor draws more current to compensate, which pulls cell voltage down faster. Clean the filter first. If suction improves, the battery still has usable capacity; if it doesn't, the cell has degraded and needs replacing.

The X6 motor keeps cutting out for a few seconds then restarts on its own mid-clean — is this the battery failing?

Not necessarily. That pattern — cut out, pause, restart — is the BMS tripping on overcurrent and then resetting, not a dead cell. A clogged filter restricts airflow and forces the motor to draw more current than the BMS allows, so it shuts down to protect the pack. Clear the filter and check the dust cup. If the motor still cuts out on an unrestricted airpath, the cell is likely degraded and dropping voltage under load — check resting voltage, which should read above 22V on a full charge.

The replacement battery went in fine but the X6 runtime feels noticeably shorter than it used to — why?

Short runtime on a new cell usually points to a partially blocked filter, not the battery. A restricted filter causes the motor to draw well above its rated current, which depletes the 2000mAh pack faster than normal operation would. Remove and clean the filter, then run a full charge-discharge cycle. If runtime remains short after the filter is cleared and a full charge cycle is complete, verify the charger reached the correct end voltage — the X6 pack should read approximately 25.2V at full charge.
