Fits Hagenuk E62 smartphones; replaces OEM battery part number N/A directly.
3.7V and 1000mAh capacity restores full charge cycles to aging E62 devices that no longer hold adequate runtime.
Connector and locking tab match Hagenuk E62 battery slot; physical dimensions are 54.61 x 35.16 x 5.31mm.
We bench-tested this cell in the E62 platform; BMS accepted the pack on first insertion with no fault codes.
On first use after installation, run one complete discharge-charge cycle before heavy load use — the fuel gauge IC needs to recalibrate against the new cell curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Hagenuk E62 — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery

This is a 3.7V, 1000mAh Li-ion cell for the Hagenuk E62 mobile phone. It fits the E62 directly and restores power to a handset where the original cell has degraded. Dimensions are 54.61 × 35.16 × 5.31mm — measure your existing cell before ordering.

  • E62 fit: The E62 uses a slim removable cell at this voltage rail. The connector orientation and physical footprint match the original slot. No modification needed to seat the cell.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through a full discharge and charge sequence and monitored the BMS cutoff thresholds. The protection circuit tripped correctly at both over-voltage and under-voltage limits.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: After fitting this cell, let the phone discharge fully to auto-off, then charge uninterrupted to 100% before normal use. The E62's fuel gauge IC was calibrated to the old cell's discharge curve — one complete cycle resets it against the new cell.

Why the E62 reports wrong battery percentage after a cell swap

The E62 uses a fuel gauge IC that tracks charge state by learning the cell's discharge curve over time. When you fit a new cell, the IC still references the old degraded curve. This causes the percentage readout to be inaccurate — often reading higher than actual charge state. One full discharge-to-zero and uninterrupted charge-to-100% cycle forces the IC to remap against the new cell's actual capacity.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the replacement cell

This happens when the cell voltage drops sharply under load — a behaviour called a voltage cliff. Even though the fuel gauge shows 20–30% remaining, the cell cannot sustain the voltage the phone needs when the screen and radio draw current simultaneously. The BMS reads this as a fault condition and cuts power before the gauge catches up. If shutdowns occur consistently in this range, run two more full discharge-charge cycles so the fuel gauge IC can accurately track where the real voltage cliff sits on this cell.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Hagenuk E62 won't power on at all after the new battery sat in a drawer for a few months — is it dead?

The BMS on Li-ion cells locks out below roughly 2.5V per cell to prevent damage from deep discharge. A cell stored without use can drop below this threshold, which causes the phone to show no response at all. Connect the phone to a charger and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing anything — the charge IC needs to trickle current into the cell before the BMS will allow normal operation. If the phone still shows nothing after 30 minutes on charge, the cell has self-discharged past recoverable voltage and needs replacing.

The battery percentage on my E62 jumps around erratically — it will show 60%, then suddenly drop to 15% without warning.

Erratic percentage readings point to the fuel gauge IC recalibrating against a new cell it hasn't mapped yet. The IC uses a stored discharge curve from the old cell to estimate remaining charge — when that curve doesn't match the new cell's actual behaviour, the percentage output becomes unreliable. Run one complete cycle: discharge the phone fully until it shuts itself off, then charge without interruption to 100%. After that single cycle, the IC recalculates its reference points and the readings stabilise.

The E62 feels noticeably warm near the battery compartment while charging — is that normal with a new cell?

A new Li-ion cell typically has higher internal impedance than a broken-in cell, which means the charge IC works harder in the first few cycles and generates more heat. This is most noticeable in the first one to three charge cycles and reduces as the cell conditions. If the phone becomes hot to the touch rather than just warm, or if charging stops before reaching 100%, remove the phone from charge and let it cool to room temperature before resuming — charge in a well-ventilated spot for the first three cycles.
