This 3.7V 1500mAh Li-ion cell replaces the factory battery in the Telenor Touch Plus smartphone. It restores power to the device when the original cell no longer holds a usable charge. Dimensions are 41.00 x 51.00 x 6.00mm — confirm these against your existing cell before fitting.

• Touch Plus fitment: The Touch Plus runs a single-cell 3.7V Li-ion architecture with a direct connector to the charge IC. This cell matches that voltage rail and physical footprint so the board sees no mismatch on power-up.
• Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the Touch Plus platform. The BMS accepted charge normally, and the protection circuit triggered correctly at the low-voltage cutoff threshold.
• Fuel gauge recalibration after swap: On first use after fitting, run one full discharge down to auto-shutdown, then charge uninterrupted to 100% before using the phone. This lets the fuel gauge IC map its calibration points against the new cell's actual discharge curve.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the Touch Plus after a cell swap

A new cell has a different internal resistance profile than the aged cell the fuel gauge IC was calibrated to. When the modem fires a data burst or the screen peaks in brightness, the new cell briefly sags in voltage. The fuel gauge reads that sag as a critically low state-of-charge and triggers an emergency shutdown — even though the cell has capacity remaining. One full discharge-charge cycle resets the coulomb counter reference points and eliminates most of these false-floor shutdowns.

Phone will not power on after the replacement cell sat in storage

Li-ion cells self-discharge in storage, and if the replacement shipped or sat below 2.5V per cell, the BMS enters a lockout state to prevent damage. The phone will not respond to a normal power press. Connect the phone to a wall charger — not a computer USB port — and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing anything. The charge IC will trickle current into the cell until it clears the BMS lockout threshold, typically around 2.9V, at which point the screen will show a charging indicator.
