Fits Heim und Haus 18797 and GEC 12-W37 robotic vacuum models, replacing OEM battery part numbers PA000942 and 2447-3031-50.
11.1V 2600mAh lithium-ion cell delivers 28.86Wh to restore autonomous cleaning cycles on hard floors and carpets.
Connector seats into the vacuum's rear battery slot with a single locking tab — push until you hear the catch.
We bench-tested this cell in the 18797 platform; the BMS initialized on first charge without fault codes or early cutoff.
After installation, wait 60 seconds before expecting the vacuum to reconnect to your app — the device re-joins its network mesh after power interruption.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Heim und Haus 18797 / GEC 12-W37 — 11.1V Li-ion Replacement Battery (PA000942)

This 11.1V 2600mAh Li-ion battery replaces the original power cell in the Heim und Haus 18797 and GEC 12-W37 robotic vacuum cleaners. It restores cleaning performance when the original cell has degraded through repeated charge cycles. Capacity is 2600mAh (28.86Wh), matching the factory specification for these models.

  • 18797 and GEC 12-W37 compatibility: Both models run the same 11.1V three-cell Li-ion architecture with identical connector pinout and BMS handshake protocol, which is why one cell covers both.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this battery through full charge and discharge cycles on the 18797 dock. The BMS accepted the charge curve without error flags and the dock LED cycled through its standard charge-complete sequence.
  • Post-install dock behaviour: After fitting a new cell, place the unit on the dock before powering on. The 18797 reads battery state on first contact with the charging pins — skipping this step can cause a false low-charge alert on the first clean cycle.

Why the 18797 drains faster after a battery swap than it did originally

A new Li-ion cell ships at partial storage charge, typically 40–60% capacity. The 18797's internal charge counter carries over the old cell's degraded baseline until a full charge-to-discharge cycle resets it. This makes the unit appear to drain abnormally fast for the first one or two cycles. Run two full charges from dock to complete, then let the vacuum run until auto-return — the counter recalibrates and drain rate normalises.

18797 returns to dock mid-clean and stops — not a runtime issue

This is a voltage sag fault, not low capacity. When the BMS detects cell voltage drop below approximately 9V under motor load — common on thick carpet with a partially conditioned cell — it triggers an early return to dock. The fix is not a recharge; the cell needs two to three full conditioning cycles to reduce internal resistance. After the second full cycle, check that the dock contact pins are clean and making firm contact, since a resistive connection amplifies voltage sag at the pins.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Heim und Haus 18797 went straight back to the dock after I put in the new battery — is it faulty?

Not faulty. A new Li-ion cell arrives at storage voltage, and the 18797's BMS reads that as a low-charge condition, triggering an immediate dock return. Place the unit on the dock and run a full charge cycle before starting a clean. The dock LED will confirm charge-complete before the vacuum will accept a clean command.

The 18797 is draining noticeably faster with the new battery than it did with the old one — what's wrong?

The vacuum's charge counter carries over the old cell's degraded history until a full cycle resets it. Run two complete charge-and-clean cycles — dock to full charge, then let the unit clean until it auto-returns on low battery. After the second cycle, the internal counter recalibrates to the new cell's actual capacity and the drain rate will drop back to normal.

New battery fitted, but the 18797 keeps stopping mid-clean and returning to dock on carpet — never happened on hard floors.

Thick carpet increases motor current draw, which causes voltage sag across a new cell with higher initial internal resistance. The BMS trips an early return when cell voltage sags below roughly 9V under load. This resolves after two to three full conditioning cycles as internal resistance drops. After the third cycle, if it still trips on carpet, clean the dock charging pins with a dry cloth and confirm the battery connector seats fully flush in its housing.
