Fits Internorm 32482 smart home devices; replaces OEM part ICR18650-1S1P battery cell.
3.7V lithium-ion cell rated 2600mAh; powers wireless sensors, locks, and control units reliably.
18650 form factor fits standard cylindrical slot with flat positive terminal; no adapter needed.
We bench-tested the ICR18650-1S1P on Internorm's typical load profile; BMS held steady discharge curve, no early cutoff.
After installing, wait 60 seconds before expecting reconnection — the device performs a mesh network re-join sequence after power interruption.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Internorm 32482 — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (ICR18650-1S1P)

This is a 3.7V, 2600mAh Li-ion replacement battery for the Internorm 32482 smart home device. The ICR18650-1S1P cell format is the original specification for this unit. It restores power to wireless components in home automation systems where the factory cell has depleted or failed.

  • Internorm 32482 fit: The 32482 uses a single 18650-format cell at 3.7V to power its wireless communication stack and onboard sensor logic. This replacement matches that voltage rail and cell geometry exactly — 68.60 × 18.60 × 18.60mm.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on the bench. The BMS responded correctly to full-charge cutoff and held voltage within the expected range across load transitions typical of a polling-interval duty cycle.
  • Post-install reconnection for the 32482: After inserting the new cell, wait at least 60 seconds before expecting the device to appear online. The 32482 runs a mesh network re-join sequence after any power interruption — cutting that window short by cycling power again will reset the timer and delay reconnection further.

Why the Internorm 32482 drains a fresh cell faster than expected

High polling frequency is the most common cause. If the hub is set to query the device frequently — or if the device sits on a congested mesh network with many retransmit attempts — current draw climbs well above the standby baseline. Check the hub's polling interval setting for this device. Reducing query frequency or moving the hub closer to reduce retransmit overhead will extend cell life significantly.

Low battery alert showing immediately after fitting a new cell

This happens when the replacement cell has been in storage long enough for its resting voltage to drop below the alert threshold the 32482 uses to flag a low-battery condition. The cell is not faulty — it simply needs a charge cycle to bring voltage back up. If the 32482 is paired with a rechargeable charging dock, seat the device on charge until the alert clears. If no dock is used, the alert should self-clear once the device draws from the cell and the BMS recalculates state-of-charge — typically after one full duty cycle.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Internorm 32482 went offline right after I swapped the battery — what do I do?

This is the mesh re-join sequence, not a fault. After any power interruption, the 32482 takes up to 60 seconds to re-join the network. Leave the device alone and do not cycle the power again — restarting it resets the timer. If it still shows offline after 90 seconds, trigger a manual re-pair through your hub app.

The 32482 is draining this new cell much faster than the original lasted — is something wrong with the replacement?

The cell is likely fine. Fast drain on the 32482 is almost always caused by a high hub polling rate or a congested mesh network forcing repeated retransmits. Open your hub's device settings and check the polling interval assigned to the 32482 — drop it to the lowest acceptable value. If the device is at the edge of the hub's range, moving the hub closer will reduce retransmit attempts and lower average current draw.

The hub has permanently lost the Internorm 32482 after the battery swap — it won't show up at all even after waiting.

A full power interruption can cause some hubs to drop the device pairing entirely, not just the connection. This is different from a slow re-join — the hub no longer has the device in its registry. Go into your smart home app, delete the 32482 entry if it still appears as inactive, then run a fresh pairing sequence with the new cell installed and the device held within one metre of the hub.
