Honiture G20 / G20 Pro — 14.4V Li-ion Replacement Battery

This is a 14.4V, 2600mAh (37.44Wh) Li-ion battery pack for the Honiture G20 and G20 Pro cordless stick vacuums. It replaces the original pack when suction performance has dropped due to capacity fade from repeated charge cycles. Voltage and connector match the G20 and G20 Pro motor and charging circuit directly.

• G20 and G20 Pro compatibility: Both models run the same 14.4V motor rail and use the same battery bay connector and BMS communication protocol, which is why one pack fits both. Swapping between them requires no modification.
• Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this pack through charge and discharge cycles on the G20 platform. The BMS responded correctly to the motor's draw curve, held voltage under sustained suction load, and tripped overcurrent protection as expected when the intake was blocked.
• Dock charging behaviour on the G20: Do not leave the G20 sitting on the charging dock permanently. Cordless vacuums on continuous dock charge develop capacity fade significantly faster than those charged only when the pack is depleted. Charge to full, then remove it from the dock and store the vacuum upright.

Cordless vacuum losing suction before the battery indicator reaches low

This happens when the motor is drawing more current than the battery's voltage can sustain under load — the pack sags in voltage before the state-of-charge indicator catches up. A partially blocked filter forces the motor to work harder, pulling more amps and accelerating that sag. The BMS reads the voltage drop and may throttle power before the LED shows a low signal. Clean or replace the filter first, then check whether the issue persists on a full charge.

Motor cuts out mid-clean and then recovers after a short pause

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. When sustained suction restriction — a clogged filter or blocked nozzle — causes motor current to spike above the BMS threshold, the pack shuts output off to protect the cells. The recovery pause is the BMS resetting after the current spike clears. Remove the blockage, clear the filter, and confirm the battery rests at or above 14.4V open-circuit before the next use.
