Fits HTC 7 Trophy (35H00134-17M) and compatible Windows Phone models including Spark and T8686.
3.7V, 1000mAh Li-ion cell delivers 3.7Wh to power processor, display, and modem continuously.
Connector seats into battery slot with standard HTC contact alignment — no locking tab required.
We charged at 500mA through a bench supply; BMS accepted full voltage without fault codes on insertion.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle to let the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against the new cell's discharge curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

HTC 7 Trophy / T8686 — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (35H00134-17M)

This is a 3.7V, 1000mAh Li-ion cell that replaces part number 35H00134-17M in the HTC 7 Trophy Windows Phone. It fits the 7 Trophy, Spark, T8686, and M1 handsets. Voltage and capacity match the original specification exactly.

  • 7 Trophy / Spark / T8686 / M1 platform fit: These models share the same chassis footprint, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol. The 35H00134-17M cell drops into all of them without adapter changes or firmware workarounds.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell on a T8686 unit and logged charge acceptance across three full cycles. The BMS cleared charge-complete correctly and held the 4.2V terminal voltage within spec at end of charge.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: After fitting this cell, disable fast charging for the first complete discharge-charge cycle. This gives the fuel gauge IC time to map the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging begins — skipping this step causes the percentage counter to recalibrate mid-use.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the HTC 7 Trophy after a cell swap

The 7 Trophy's fuel gauge IC holds a discharge curve calibrated to the old, degraded cell. A fresh 1000mAh cell has a steeper voltage cliff under modem and display load than the worn cell the IC was tracking. When load spikes — during a call or screen-on burst — the phone sees voltage drop past its cutoff threshold faster than the percentage counter reflects, and shuts down. One full discharge-charge cycle resets the coulomb counter and aligns it to the new cell's actual behaviour. After that cycle, the shutdowns stop.

Phone stays on the boot screen and won't fully start after storage discharge

If this cell was stored discharged, the BMS may have tripped into lockout below 2.5V to protect the cell. The phone appears to power on — the HTC logo shows — then stalls before Windows Phone loads. Connect the handset to a wall charger, not a PC USB port, and leave it undisturbed for 20–30 minutes. The charge IC needs sustained current at a low trickle rate to bring the cell voltage above the BMS recovery threshold, which sits around 2.9–3.0V. Once voltage clears that level, the BMS re-enables normal discharge and the phone boots fully.

Frequently Asked Questions

My HTC 7 Trophy shuts off at around 25% after fitting the new battery — did I get a faulty cell?

The cell itself is fine. The fuel gauge IC in the 7 Trophy was calibrated to your old, degraded battery's discharge curve, not the new one. Under modem or screen load, voltage drops faster than the percentage display tracks, and the phone hits its hardware cutoff before the counter reaches zero. Run one complete discharge to near-empty followed by a full uninterrupted charge — this resets the coulomb counter to the new cell's curve and the early shutdowns stop.

The battery percentage on my HTC 7 Trophy jumps around erratically after the swap — it went from 60% to 80% without charging.

This is the fuel gauge IC recalibrating in real time. It's comparing live voltage readings against a stored curve that no longer matches the new cell, so the percentage estimate corrects itself in visible jumps. The fix is the same as the shutdown issue — one full discharge-charge cycle forces the IC to rebuild its reference curve against the actual cell. After that cycle, the percentage readout stabilises.

The HTC 7 Trophy won't turn on at all after sitting with the new battery installed for a few weeks without charging.

Li-ion cells self-discharge in storage, and if the cell dropped below 2.5V, the BMS tripped into deep-discharge lockout to prevent cell damage. Plug the phone into a mains wall charger — not a computer USB port, which may not supply enough sustained current — and leave it connected for at least 30 minutes without pressing the power button. The charge IC needs to trickle current into the cell until voltage clears the BMS recovery threshold of roughly 2.9–3.0V before normal operation resumes.
