Fits HTC Desire 19S smartphone; replaces OEM part B2Q74100 battery.
3.85V, 2650mAh Li-Polymer cell restores full charge capacity for calling, messaging, and app usage.
Connector type matches OEM slot; dimensions 78.70 x 62.70 x 3.66mm seat flush without modification.
We bench-tested this cell on Desire 19S hardware; BMS accepted the pack on first insertion and held voltage curve stable under sustained load draw.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle so the fuel gauge IC recalibrates against the new cell discharge curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

HTC Desire 19S — 3.85V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (B2Q74100)

This is a 3.85V, 2650mAh (10.2Wh) Li-Polymer cell built to replace the original B2Q74100 battery in the HTC Desire 19S smartphone. It matches the OEM voltage, connector, and physical footprint at 78.70 × 62.70 × 3.66mm. Drop it in when the original cell can no longer hold enough charge to get through a normal day of calls, messaging, and app use.

  • Desire 19S fit: The Desire 19S uses a fixed Li-Polymer pouch cell with a dedicated BMS handshake tied to the B2Q74100 part number. This replacement carries the same voltage rail and connector pinout so the phone's charge IC recognises it without any firmware workaround.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell on the Desire 19S platform and monitored BMS communication throughout charge and discharge. The protection circuit held cutoff at the correct thresholds and the charge IC accepted the cell without error flags.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: After installation, disable fast charging and run one full discharge-to-charge cycle at standard current. This gives the fuel gauge IC time to map its coulomb counter against the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging begins on an uncalibrated reference.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the Desire 19S after a cell swap

A new Li-Polymer cell has a slightly different internal resistance profile than the aged cell the fuel gauge IC was trained on. Under modem or display load, voltage sags faster than the IC expects, and the phone hits its hardware cutoff before the reported percentage reaches zero. The system reads 25% remaining but the cell voltage has already dropped below the protection threshold. One full discharge-charge cycle lets the coulomb counter reset its end-of-discharge reference to match the new cell.

USB fast charge not activating on the first cycle after replacement

On the first charge after installation, the Desire 19S charge IC may stay in standard-current mode and not negotiate the higher charge rate. This happens because the BMS on the new cell starts with no cycle history, and some charge controllers default to a conservative current until they confirm cell health over at least one cycle. Let the phone complete one full charge at standard speed before expecting fast charge to engage. After that first cycle, fast charge should activate normally on subsequent sessions.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Desire 19S shows 25% battery left and then just dies with no warning — is the new cell faulty?

It is not a faulty cell. The fuel gauge IC on the Desire 19S was calibrated to the discharge curve of your old, degraded cell. The new cell's voltage drops faster under load than the IC expects, so the hardware cutoff triggers before the percentage counter reaches zero. Run one complete discharge — use the phone until it shuts itself off — then charge it fully without interruption. After that cycle, the coulomb counter recalibrates and the shutdowns should stop.

The battery percentage on my Desire 19S is jumping around erratically after I put in the new battery — what is causing that?

The fuel gauge IC stores a learned discharge model for the previous cell. When a new cell goes in, the stored model no longer matches the actual voltage curve, so the percentage reading skips rather than counting down smoothly. This is not a hardware fault — it is the IC recalibrating. Do one full uninterrupted discharge down to automatic shutdown, then charge to 100% without removing the cable early. The gauge will lock onto the new cell's curve and stabilise after that cycle.

My Desire 19S will not turn on at all after the replacement battery sat unused in storage — how do I recover it?

Li-Polymer cells self-discharge in storage, and if the cell voltage dropped below approximately 2.5V, the BMS enters lockout to prevent damage. Plug the phone into a wall charger — not a PC USB port — and leave it for at least 20–30 minutes without pressing the power button. The charge IC will trickle current into the cell to bring it above the BMS re-initialisation threshold. Once the charging indicator appears on screen, continue to a full charge before powering on normally.
