Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.
Delivery and Shipping
Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

HTC Incredible S S710E — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (BG32100)
This is a 3.7V, 1350mAh Li-ion cell that replaces the original battery in the HTC Incredible S, S710E, and PG32130. It fits the same cavity and connector as OEM part BG32100. Use it when the original cell no longer holds a usable charge or fails to power on after a full charge cycle.
- S710E and PG32130 compatibility: These model numbers share the same mainboard voltage rail, physical footprint, and connector latch. All draw power from the same 3.7V nominal supply, so one cell fits the full range without modification.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through a full charge-discharge cycle on an S710E unit. The BMS accepted charging immediately, held cutoff at 4.2V, and tripped the low-voltage cutoff cleanly without the phone freezing at the lock screen.
- Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: After installing this cell, disable any fast-charge mode and run one full discharge-charge cycle at standard current. This lets the fuel gauge IC map its coulomb counter against the new cell's actual discharge curve before the OS starts reporting accurate percentages.
Why the Incredible S shuts down suddenly at 20–30% with a new cell
The S710E's fuel gauge IC stores a learned discharge curve from the previous cell. When a new cell is installed, the stored curve no longer matches the actual voltage-capacity relationship of the replacement. Under modem or display load, the cell voltage drops faster than the IC expects, crossing the hardware cutoff threshold while the OS still shows 20–30% remaining. Running one full uninterrupted discharge-charge cycle at standard current forces the IC to relearn the curve and eliminates the premature shutdowns.
Phone won't power on after the replacement cell sat in storage
Li-ion cells self-discharge in storage, and if voltage drops below approximately 2.5V per cell, the BMS trips a lockout to prevent damage. The phone will show no sign of life — no boot logo, no charging indicator — when connected to a charger. Use a dedicated Li-ion charger or a charger with a "boost" or "wake" mode to push a small pre-charge current into the cell until voltage climbs above 3.0V. Once the BMS releases the lockout, connect the phone to its standard charger and allow a full charge before powering on.

Frequently Asked Questions
My HTC Incredible S is jumping between battery percentages every few minutes after I put in the new battery — is something wrong with the cell?
Nothing is wrong with the cell itself. The fuel gauge IC on the S710E is still running the discharge curve it learned from the old battery, so its coulomb counter is feeding the OS inaccurate readings. Run one complete discharge down to automatic shutdown, then charge uninterrupted to 100% without using the phone. That single cycle gives the IC enough data to rebuild its curve against the new cell, and the percentage readout stabilises.
The phone feels noticeably warm near the battery compartment while charging — is the new cell safe?
Some warmth during the first few charge cycles on a new cell is normal. A fresh high-impedance cell causes the charge IC to work slightly harder than it did with a worn, low-impedance original cell, generating more heat at the board level. If the phone becomes hot to the touch or the charging LED cuts out early, remove the phone from the charger, let it cool to room temperature, and restart the charge. Warmth that fades after the first two or three cycles is expected; sustained heat is not.
My Incredible S charges fine but the USB connection to my PC drops out constantly after the battery swap — what's happening?
This is a grounding issue that appears when the replacement cell sits slightly proud of the contacts due to manufacturing tolerances in the battery door. The flex in the back cover puts intermittent pressure on the USB port's ground tab. Remove the battery, check that it sits flat against all four contact points, and reseat the battery door firmly before tightening. If the dropout continues, press the centre of the battery door down while connecting the cable — persistent movement at that point confirms a contact seating problem rather than a cable or port fault.
