Fits HTC One X9 and One X9E smartphones; replaces OEM part B2PS5100 and equivalent variants.
Delivers 3.85V and 3000mAh capacity; restores full power to processor, display, and cellular modem functions.
Connector seats flush into the battery slot with standard HTC locking tab; no adapter required.
We bench-tested the cell on HTC charge hardware; BMS accepted the pack on first insertion with no fault codes.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle — the fuel gauge IC needs to recalibrate against the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

HTC One X9 Series — 3.85V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (B2PS5100)

This is a 3.85V, 3000mAh (11.55Wh) Li-Polymer cell replacing the original B2PS5100 in the HTC One X9, One X9E, One X9u, and One X9 Dual SIM. It fits the same footprint as the OEM cell at 76.50 × 67.90 × 3.40mm. When the original cell degrades and can no longer hold voltage under load, this cell restores full function.

  • One X9 variant compatibility: The X9, X9E, X9u, and Dual SIM variants all share the same battery bay dimensions, connector pinout, and 3.85V nominal rail — the BMS handshake is identical across these builds, so one cell covers the full range.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on an HTC One X9 unit. The BMS accepted the cell cleanly, protection circuits triggered correctly at low-voltage cutoff, and the charge IC stepped through CC/CV phases without fault.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle. This allows the fuel gauge IC to recalibrate against the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging is applied to an uncalibrated cell.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the One X9 after a cell swap

The One X9's fuel gauge IC builds its percentage model from the old cell's discharge curve. A new cell has a different internal resistance profile, so the IC misjudges how much voltage remains under modem and display load. The phone hits a hard voltage floor — around 3.4V under peak draw — before the percentage reaches zero. One full discharge-charge cycle without fast charging gives the coulomb counter enough data to replot the curve against the new cell.

Device not powering on after sitting in storage with a flat battery

Li-Polymer cells that drop below approximately 2.5V per cell trigger a BMS lockout to prevent damage during recharge. The One X9 will show no response — no boot logo, no charge indicator — until the BMS is brought out of lockout. Connect to a wall charger, not a PC USB port, and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing the power button. Once the BMS detects safe voltage recovery, the charge indicator will appear and normal charging resumes.

Frequently Asked Questions

My HTC One X9 shuts off at around 25% after I put in the new battery — is the cell faulty?

The cell is not faulty. The fuel gauge IC on the One X9 is still using the discharge curve it mapped to your old, degraded cell. When the new cell's voltage drops faster than the IC expects under modem or screen load, the phone hits its hard cutoff before the percentage reaches zero. Run one full discharge down to automatic shutdown, then charge to 100% with fast charging turned off — the coulomb counter will remap to the new cell's profile and the early shutdowns will stop.

The battery percentage on my One X9 is jumping around erratically after the swap — 60% one minute, 45% the next.

Erratic percentage jumps are a fuel gauge IC recalibration issue, not a sign of a bad cell. The IC is applying learned capacity data from your old battery to a new cell with different impedance, so the reported state-of-charge swings between measurements. Complete two full discharge-charge cycles without fast charging. By the second cycle, the IC has enough real discharge data to track the new cell accurately and the jumping settles out.

Fast charging stopped working on my One X9 right after I installed the replacement battery — the phone only trickle charges now.

On first contact with a new cell, the HTC charge IC defaults to a reduced current rate until it verifies the cell's response to the initial charge phase. If the fuel gauge IC has not yet run a calibration cycle, the charge controller stays conservative and will not step up to fast charge current. Turn fast charging off in settings, run one complete slow discharge-charge cycle, then re-enable fast charging — after that cycle the IC accepts the higher current rate and fast charging resumes normally.
