Fits Sony Ericsson Xperia X, Xperia X Dual (F5121, F5122) — replaces OEM part 1300-3513 and LIS1624ERPC.
3.8V, 2700mAh lithium-polymer cell delivers the capacity your Xperia X fuel gauge expects without voltage sag under display load.
Connector slides straight into the battery slot with no locking tab — orientation marked inside the compartment matches this cell.
We cycled this pack on an F5121 and confirmed the BMS accepts charge without early cutoff; voltage curve stays flat through discharge.
On first use after installation, run one complete discharge-charge cycle with fast charging disabled so the fuel gauge recalibrates to this cell's discharge curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Sony Ericsson Xperia X / Xperia X Dual — 3.8V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (1300-3513)

This is a 3.8V, 2700mAh Li-Polymer replacement battery for the Sony Ericsson Xperia X and Xperia X Dual smartphones (F5121, F5122). It replaces OEM part numbers 1300-3513 and LIS1624ERPC. Swap it in when the original cell no longer holds a charge or shuts down unexpectedly under load.

  • F5121 and F5122 compatibility: Both the single-SIM F5121 and dual-SIM F5122 use the same battery bay, connector, and BMS handshake protocol — one cell fits both variants without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on an F5121 unit. The BMS accepted the cell, reported voltage correctly, and Qualcomm Quick Charge negotiation completed without error on the second full cycle.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first install: On first use after installation, disable fast charging and complete one full discharge-to-charge cycle. This allows the fuel gauge IC to recalibrate its coulomb counter against the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging is applied to an uncalibrated cell.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the Xperia X after a cell swap

This is a voltage cliff issue, not a capacity problem. When the modem transmits or the display peaks, current draw spikes sharply. A new cell with an uncalibrated fuel gauge IC can report 25% remaining while the actual terminal voltage has already dropped below the BMS cutoff threshold. The BMS reads that drop as a protection event and cuts power. One full discharge-charge cycle lets the coulomb counter map the new cell's actual voltage curve, which corrects the premature cutoff.

Phone warm near the battery during the first few charges after replacement

A new Li-Polymer cell has higher internal impedance than a well-cycled cell. The charge IC on the Xperia X compensates by pushing slightly more voltage to overcome that resistance, which generates more heat than you'd see on a broken-in cell. This is normal for the first three to five charge cycles as impedance drops toward its steady-state value. If the device stays warm beyond that point or the back panel feels hot to the touch, check that the thermal pad between the cell and the chassis is seated correctly after reassembly.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Xperia X shuts off at around 25% after fitting the new battery — is the cell faulty?

The cell is almost certainly fine. This is a fuel gauge IC calibration issue — the coulomb counter in the Xperia X is still mapped to the old cell's discharge curve, so it misreads the new cell's terminal voltage under load. When the modem or display draws a current spike, the real voltage drops below the BMS cutoff before the reported percentage reaches zero. Run one full uninterrupted discharge down to automatic shutdown, then charge to 100% without interruption — this resets the coulomb counter to the new cell's curve and corrects the early cutoff.

Quick Charge isn't working on the replacement battery — the phone is charging slowly on the same charger I always used.

Qualcomm Quick Charge negotiation on the Xperia X runs a handshake between the charger, USB port, and BMS on the first cycle after a new cell is installed. On the first charge, the BMS defaults to standard current until it completes an initialisation cycle. Plug in the phone, let it charge fully to 100% without unplugging, then disconnect and allow it to drop below 20% before the next charge. Quick Charge should re-engage from the second cycle onward — confirm the charger output shows 9V in the phone's battery diagnostics under *#*#4636#*#*.

The battery percentage is jumping around erratically — it reads 60%, then drops to 40%, then jumps back up.

Erratic percentage readings after a cell swap are caused by the fuel gauge IC recalibrating against unfamiliar cell chemistry. The Xperia X uses a coulomb counter that tracks accumulated charge and discharge current — when the reference data from the old cell no longer matches the new cell's voltage-to-capacity curve, the reported percentage becomes unstable. The fix is one complete discharge cycle: use the phone normally until it shuts itself off from low battery (do not force-shutdown), then charge uninterrupted to 100%. After that single cycle, the IC has enough data to report accurately.
