Yes, and it is one of the most common failures on this platform. The device reboots the radio stack, which looks like a dropout to every connected client. Battery drains much faster when I'm in a building with poor signal — is something wrong with the replacement cell?

Nothing is wrong with the cell. The E5372T's LTE radio automatically increases transmit power when signal is weak, trying to maintain a stable connection to the tower. At maximum transmit power, the modem draws significantly more current than in strong-signal conditions, pulling the 3400mAh cell down much faster than the rated capacity suggests. Move the hotspot to a window or elevated position to reduce transmit power demand — that single change cuts current draw more than any software setting.

The E5372T won't power on at all after sitting unused for two months — how do I get it to boot?

Li-ion cells self-discharge at roughly 2–3% per month, and the E5372T's standby current accelerates that further. After two months, the cell may have dropped below the BMS minimum boot voltage of around 3.0V. Connect the charger and wait at least 30 minutes before pressing the power button — do not attempt to boot it immediately. If the charge LED lights solid and the device powers on after that wait, the cell recovered; if it stays dark or shuts off instantly on unplug, the cell has passed the recovery threshold and replacement is the only fix.
