Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Huawei Enjoy 5 / TIT-CL10 — 3.8V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (HB526379EBC)

This is a 3.8V, 3900mAh (14.82Wh) Li-Polymer cell that replaces the HB526379EBC battery in the Huawei Enjoy 5. It fits the TIT-CL10, TIT-AL00, and Honor Play 5X Dual SIM TD-LTE variants. Swap it in when the original cell can no longer hold a stable charge or causes unexpected shutdowns.

  • TIT-CL10 / TIT-AL00 platform fit: These model codes share the same battery bay geometry, flex connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol. One cell covers all variants on this platform without adapter or modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through full charge and discharge passes on a TIT-series board. The BMS accepted the cell without fault flags, and the charge IC completed termination at the correct cutoff voltage.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle. This lets the fuel gauge IC map the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging pushes current into an uncalibrated cell — preventing early percentage drift or premature low-battery warnings.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the replacement cell

This happens when the fuel gauge IC is still calibrated to the old cell's discharge curve. The new cell hits a voltage cliff under modem or display load that the IC wasn't expecting, so it triggers a protective shutdown before the reported percentage reaches zero. It's not a faulty cell — it's a calibration mismatch. Run one full discharge to below 5% without interruption, then charge to 100% uninterrupted, and the IC will remap to the new curve.

USB fast charge not engaging after a cell swap

On the first charge cycle after installation, the charge IC may default to standard 5V/1A input while it evaluates the new cell's impedance profile. This is normal behaviour — the IC runs a brief internal resistance check before allowing elevated current. If fast charge still hasn't engaged after one full cycle, clear the battery stats partition in recovery and attempt a second full cycle from below 10% to 100%.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Enjoy 5 shuts off at around 25% after I put this battery in — is the cell dead already?

No — the fuel gauge IC on the TIT-CL10 board is still reading the discharge curve of the old cell. When voltage drops sharply under modem or screen load, the IC trips a shutdown before the percentage hits zero. Run one full, uninterrupted discharge down to below 5%, then charge straight to 100% without stopping. That single cycle gives the coulomb counter enough data to remap to the new cell.

The phone shows 100% for a long time then the percentage drops fast — what's happening?

The fuel gauge IC lost its reference point when the old cell was removed. It's now interpolating percentage from an outdated capacity model, which causes it to hold high readings too long and then drop quickly in the lower range. This resolves after one or two full discharge-charge cycles without interruption. After the second full cycle, percentage reporting should track evenly across the discharge curve.

The Enjoy 5 won't power on at all after the replacement battery sat in a drawer for a few months before I installed it.

If the cell discharged below approximately 2.5V in storage, the BMS has locked out to prevent damage to the polymer cells. Plug it in with the original Huawei charger and leave it connected for at least 20–30 minutes without pressing the power button — the charge IC needs to trickle current into the cell to bring it above the BMS re-enable threshold before a normal boot is possible. Once the device shows a charging indicator on screen, allow it to reach at least 15% before attempting to power on.
